I can never hear this without being reminded of a litter of ducklings that hatched on our village pond in 1999. All of them were the normal mallard brown colour except for one which came out yellow. Our children christened that one Mr Oizo. It grew into a magnificent pure white duck while the others turned into ordinary mallards. Every Sunday the children would look out for Mr Oizo as we passed the pond on the way to church and more often than not we saw him! It was an unchanging ritual until sadly a fox got Mr Oizo about three years later. Even now I still refer to those yellow ducklings that turn into white ducks as "Oizos".
I remember when this first come out and heard it on the radio, waited so long for them to play it again just so I could record it on a blank cassette from then on I played it NON STOP, then I bought it on CD. I miss the 90s.

This introduced me to French electro when I saw it on MTV'S AMP in the late 90s. Later seeking of his stuff introduced me to JUSTICE which has eclipsed any of my old favorite groups.
Part of Justice worked with this guy on one of his movies.

The puppetry for this is fantastic. Very subtle and articulate movements that really make it great. I laugh every time I watch/listen to this.
