I've been lusting after a HexePeak for years now, and recently put the idea out of my head as I don't really need (and cant afford) another tent - now you've gone and got me eying her up again! I liked that new tent Jimmy. Made for a great camp after the shelter fell down. And the setting was lovely and sunset amazing - that’s a few of the reasons we get out there Mate. A great solo camp 🏕️🔥😊👍

Yes i was watching that area as well , too close to be that farm house that was lite up for a little while & for awhile it looked like car head lights from a far but again wrong angle . Maybe a Fox ?
Good morning Jimmy, another good time out in the woods. I like that tent, it's pretty cool. I havnt been able to do any overnight visits to my shelter due to a bunch of wild pigs coming around way too close to be safe. I may have to stock up the freezer with pork ha ha ha. All things worked out in the end , you still had a good time. I watched a review on that pump with the light , it pumped up 15 different brand types of air mattresses (standard) around 1.5 minutes each to inflate then it was flat .I would imagine the motor uses more power than the light . A pretty good buy & would last a few trips before recharging. I really enjoyed this video. You needed Roney for the smoke test as it follows him. lol
That's a great tent, I prefer a tarp if I'm being honest but it's very good tent, I'm tempted money willing. What an amazing sunset, it was worth going out just for that.

Well, as a fan of the Luxe Hexpeak and having watched your other video first, I am glad to hear that you like the tent a lot more now. As I tend to hike long distances, I am a bit weight-conscious (not like the ultra-light guys), so now made my own ground sheet out of Polycro (window insulation film) which is cheap and light weight. The bath tub ground sheet looks interesting for shoulder season when I am happy to do without the inner. Here in Scotland, I find it too cold in winter to do without an inner and in summer I don't fancy to be midge-fodder. However, this particular bathtub floor, of course well fitted to the tent is a tad heavy. I have replaced the inner with the inner of a Lanshan 1 which actually weighs less than the bathtub floor that you have shown here.

Hi there! New subscriber here from the Netherlands! I have the same tent in the brown colour. Haven't got the extra ground sheet. Think they intend it to be used with the outer as a tarp tent setup. I asked them if I could use it with the inner and they explained thatthey would overlap. I wanted to have the front side covered. But if you set it up like you did, the overlap is excellent and is at the front. Dunno how much it weighs though. Tent with half inner is heavy enough for me at about 1.7 kg I think? Ah well....nice taut pitch and lovely area! I will get out this weekend. No wild camping here allowed unfortunately. But I know a small nature camp ground near that is open all year round! Cheers and also great filming btw!

Ye your just across the river it's definitely hard to find a good place I've built lot's of shelters my last one was found ad took down so not in a rush to rebuild as it's a lot of work and take time but just getting out is great hopefully you find a good location 😎😎👍👍
