Oh my goodness Courtney, that island update is gorgeous I love it, I think it's been a great idea to do this. But, the only thing is those cupboards have painted up so nice, you know what I'm gonna say, it would look amazing all the kitchen painted, and don't tell me you haven't thought about it, cause that would really open the place up, and make it look larger. You know I'm right, have a good think about this, I think it would be a good idea. Hope baby girls feeling better soon, when their little like that, being poorly is so so concerning, but out of the blue 9 out of 10 they just bounce back, fingers crossed, big hug from me. My granddaughter used Camilla Homeopathic liquid drops for teething and it was a lifesaver as she got her teeth almost all at the same time. I purchased it at Walmart. Prayers for your baby.

The island turned out fabulous! I might consider painting the trim around the bottom Oyster Bay, too since it’s on a stand alone island. It might blend beautifully with the flooring. Just a thought.

Poor baby. Being sick is no fun. But one thing that is amazing is the body’s ability to heal itself. The fevers, the vomiting, the sleeping, all of it is just symptoms of the immune system working. On the outside it looks worrisome, but on the inside, the body is in overtime and war with whatever bug got into it. I have been really interested in how the body works and it’s an incredible system. But still… no one likes being sick and no good parent likes seeing their little ones sick. I’m glad you’re getting her checked and I hope it’s nothing serious. Praying for yall!

Just a suggestion….have you thought of painting the quarter round to match the island or floor. The white is too stark. Love the color and it looks fabulous. Praying Sissy is well soon. Congratulations on closing on your home. God’s blessings to you and your family.

Glad Sissy’s feeling a little better. My sister cut all four top front teeth at the same time, so I know what you’re going through. I remember days of crying and us feeling so helpless to help her. Wow!! What a difference!! That’s outstanding!! Seriously, that Oyster Bay is such a pretty color, it would be a great main color for all the cabinets. Just saying. You do you, but that’s how my mind is seeing it now. I’m seeing the cabinets all Oyster Bay, and that same contact paper on your countertops.

Thank you so much girl last night was really rough I was up half the night with her crying in pain so I kept rotating out the Tylenol and Motrin and giving oral gel I was giving her the whole tune up lol I think she mainly just wanted to be soothed so I just laid with her patting her on the butt and she finally fell asleep at like 5:30 this morning 😮💨
@@HomeSweepHome awe. Bless her heart. Poor angel. We had 4 (all grown now), and I remember those days. They’re hard cause we can’t take the pain from them. I used to tell my kids, “I’d take that pain away from you if I could babe, but I can give you something to make it a little bit easier to deal with.” All they want at that point is the love of mom. Love it what a change. It would be my house. I do that oyster Bay on the bottom of all your kitchen cabinets and then white on the top. Your kitchen is a really nice size, but that darkness makes it look small 🥰

Just got done moving the last week. Finally unpacked and completely decorated now it’s time for me to catch up on what I’ve missed in the world. I absolutely love how the island has turned out. Great job and I’m glad Sissy is feeling better when I started this video last week, I was praying for her but never got to finish the video so I’m glad to know it’s her teething and I hope by now she is fully better which I’m about to watch the next video so I’m sure I will get an update there.😊.
Her molars finally cut through she’s back to her loving playful goofy self not gonna lie she had me pretty scared there for a few days I was losing sleep worrying over her so I’m so glad they finally cut through for her

My grandbaby is having seasonal allergies and has been to the doctor and I had to stay with her 2 days because she felt bad, so mommy and daddy could go to work.

We had covid last week and my 9 year old son ended up in the hospital with pneumonia and he had an ear infection from the covid too. He was throwing up and fever. Second time we have had it. Last time he was in the hospital for 2 weeks. He has special needs so his immune system isn’t as good as his little brother who had no symptoms. We were blessed that this time it was only a 2 night stay and we just got home today! Hope Sissy feels better soon.

I like the oyster bay color for sure but i think that there's enough. Its easy to overdo a good thing. Its not my home but it when everything is the same color it stops being a great accent. Its a very cool color. Not blue but not necessarily green either. I think theres a great balance now of the wood clors and the oyster bay.

@HomeSweepHome poor baby! That's so rough. If you put yogurt in the freezer, it comes out a lot like ice cream, but it's much healthier. That might feel good on her gums. You can even cut up some strawberries in bite-sized pieces and freeze those.

Remember mama fever is the body’s response to fighting off infection which could be viral or bacterial. It’s best not to give them Tylenol or Motrin if temp is greater than 100.4.
Her symptoms sound like possibly like Step. I would definitely bring her and get her tested for Strep.

We got her tested for strep yesterday and it was negative the dr. Says her symptoms sound like she’s teething from her top molars her fevers have stopped since yesterday and she’s been back playing non stop tonight so that’s a good sign ❤

@@HomeSweepHome I had 3 under 2 2/2 yrs 1 boy then 9 months later boy twins ! Bonjela teething gel was my best friend. Mine had dummies (pacifiers) so I would put a tiny amount on them and the 3 of them would be soothed for falling asleep at night. During the day I rubbed it on their gums life saver !! now they are 33 and twins 32 but I remember the worry of it all like yesterday. you are a great Mum. xx
