I love that you utilized the remaining felt. I hate wasting fabric. Well done you! Love these!
So glad you like, thanks Cherie
I use the little felt trays to hold felt embroidered coasters as gifts.
Good idea!
You could even make a "tray" with a bottom slightly bigger than the storage box and use it as a lid!
Oh thats a great idea, I must try that!
Great series. Thank you. Sourcing good 3mm felt in my area - Southern California- is a challenge but I’m not giving up. There’s always online.
Thanks! So glad you enjoyed it. Head to my #resources post here on FB for many worldwide suppliers that the group keep adding to: facebook.com/diane.spencer.ogg/videos/540702077890272
@@SpencerOgg Thank you ❤️
Hi what type of felt do I need to buy? These are great! Thank you
She said 3 mm felt. You can go back to her first video in series where she explains types of felt.
3mm felt and I added links under the video for you :). You can also skip back to episode 1 to learn about 3mm felt
Someone gave me a ton of felt but it’s not nearly as stiff. I’m thinking I can use a little interfacing and get a similar effect.
A lot of these projects are single layer so you will see that back. Maybe look at glueing/stitching two layers of your thinner felt together instead to make it firmer
@@SpencerOgg okay that's a good idea also. I pulled my felt out after I wrote that and realized it wasn't going to be easy to do it that way. I'll try the glue instead. Thank you.

What size & type needle is used for felt? I just acquired some small patterned pieces but want to be safe with correct needle. Thanks for tutorial & another cool idea!
I have a video explaining everything you need to know about sewing felt here, along with 7 free projects: ua-cam.com/video/JMrywLy_PE4/v-deo.html
I have not been able to find 3mm felt. I am from the States, By chance do you know where can I purchase 3mm felt. They are just not structure the same with the lighter weight felt ;(
