To my understanding there has to come some strength to that as well as “power equals strength times speed.” So what I wanna know is how do I increase strength and power without gaining weight or size?
Plyometric exercises increase power without adding mass. Also, focus on glute/hip strength for speed and quad/calf strength for jump height, and practice explosive movements for explosiveness
Mikey Merritt However weight training without too many protein shakes or stimulants is a good way to improve all these things without significant gains in size. Squats, hip thrusts, power cleans and barbell lunges could add power without slowing you down
I know they have reasonably sized legs and strength, but for some odd reason, when they jump, it looks like their lower bodies are having trouble supporting their upper bodies. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like I'm about to watch an ACL tear waiting to happen. Something is off here.
Andrew T Workouts should be easy. They never landed with straight legs, The mechanics look fine to me, just a Little shaken on the way down, That’s how you know they are working hard.
