Eternal Champions was a great game once you realized you can't play it like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. But the spin offs were trash. Chicago Syndicate had a good premise but... Game Gear...
Not unless you live in Brazil or Pakistan, where arcades are guys charging by the hour to use a console, because Eternal Champions was only ever on the Megadrive and Mega CD, NEVER on an arcade board. Check the MAME database, they have every arcade game ever released, and Eternal Champions isn't one of them (unless there's a different game with the same name, I didn't check it myself)
@@Tim2-yi7pu Fun fact, when it came out, because it was SEGA exclusive game, and he was the main editor of the official SEGA magazine here in the UK, The boss guy off Digital Foundry gave it 98% and said it was better than Super Streetfighter which only got 96% No need to apologise man it's all good, it might be the mandela effect thing. The universe I was originally from never had a monocle for the monoply guy but I 100% swear I've seen Gremlins 3. Billy died at the beginning, the mogwaiis that got born were evil and force-fed gizmo after midnight, so the one actual gremlin was good and Gizmo and Phoebe Cates were stopping evil little furry looking things. It all happened in a fake version of the original town form the first film, cos Clamp was building loads of them like Billy's design in Gremlins 2, and the evil mogwais infested it.
I loved Eternal Champions and had a Game Gear. Never knew this existed.

Only good fighting game spinoff i can think of is Street Fighter's Cannon Spike, and even then it was just okay
I think most people liked Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks but I haven’t played it
To be fair, it was Sega of Japan that killed it
this game was so bad the fact you sed mk was worse lol
This game did get a arcade release
