It wasn’t o. Last weekend was a struggle. After it rained on I think Friday night I had issues with electricity and it affected so many things so I was really disorganized and I didn’t have the time or mental energy for a number of things. I just decided to do the one I could do and keep it moving. Content creation in Nigeria is such a battle sometimes. 🤕
Men are always very protective of their daughters so it takes wisdom to pass certain messages across to them especially when it comes to boys.
As a parent I see absolutely nothing wrong with what Didi did. Parents should have a united front when dealing with their children. However, I think it's better to discuss such things only with a very reasonable and open minded man.
If the man isn't reasonable then handle the situation alone. Trust is a very key and delicate ingredient in relationship building. You just don't want to break it but, parenting can be a headache sometimes.

Coming from someone with a step mother, Didi shouldn't have told Editi. Maybe later, but it was too early and fresh. Editi handled it poooooooorly

Yeah, I agree. Didi should’ve tried to advise Ene on her own. In fact there didn’t really seem like any real reason for her to tell Editi. And I think the poor way Editi handled it was as much a surprise to her as it was to us.
Didi was right to tell Editi cos he's the dad BUT he should have kept his mouth shut. He should have realised that it's great that his daughter trusts Didi n is building a great relationship instead he blew things up with his kid & now with Didi. This should make her rethink the kid thing?

As a parent, I am caught in between keeping the trust of my kids and telling me husband their misdeeds. We jist about everything and one way or the other the thing came out frm my mouth. I have done it twice and my hubby did exactly what editi did. I learnt the hard way though it took a lot of work to build d trust again , I keep quiet with a warning that a repeat will be reported and it has worked.
It is such a tricky one isn't it...

I think it was better for her to keep it as a secret. It was bringing more closure btw her and the girl. At least she has someone to rely on.
