I wasn’t expecting much from this season but honestly was blown away by season 2. I loooveddd how they went to inter religious relationships-it was broken down beautifully. Oh the beauty that was Hanifa and Ahmadu, the end had me in tears.
Hearing the average male's thoughts on feminism always makes me laugh lol. Returning to an ex is a matter of passion - not politics. There's no shortage of misogynists who beg and grovel for women. I loved this season! The series is so well rounded and equally well shot. And I'm glad someone else noticed the flawless makeup - so good it looked like a fresh application in each scene, something that isn't easy to maintain during long hours and intense heat. Looking forward to next season

Fantastic season indeed... Whatever they do sha, make dem no kill-off that woman ooo... Also please can they improve on the background songs.... episode 1 made me drowsy as there was barely any song in the background... Lovely restaurant spaces used...
that scene with @maryamlemuofficial and Jemima was insightful, and educative and was the highlight of this season for me. We learn every day. Well done Tito you always share my opinion on these movies #beyondtheveilseries is a very good watch

Unpopular opinion: I think Hanifah was doing too much during her pregnancy. She only slowed down towards the end of her pregnancy, and that's only because she fainted at work. I love Zizi❤️ Baddie's character development is beautiful written🫡 I felt sorry for Na'ima because everyone is manipulating her in some form trying to control her business and relationship. Surraya, whatever she calls herself...she needs proper beating. She was too much of a villain for them to let her just send her packing on the low. They should have exposed her public. Maryem is a whole babe😍 She is definitely a CATCH! smart, educated, beautiful, and even though her engagement was initially arranged, she didn't have a desperation vibe at all. She had this energy of I will be good with or without this man. Matthew should have packaged his family before bringing Naima home to his family.

Nice review 👍. But I feel they should have done a translation(for the non Hausa audience) for Anifa & Amadu's scenes. In all, is a good watch.
