I’ve loved Sylvan Esso’s music for years, but had never seen the band members’ faces prior to last night. My stepdaughters love “Ferris Wheel,” and wanted to watch the video... When I saw S.E.’s front-woman flash across my TV screen, I had to do a double-take because she looked SO MUCH like Amelia Meath: a girl I went to Bennington College with ‘06-‘07 (before I transferred out). 🧐 Lo and behold... she IS Amelia! 🤯 Just wanted to share my trippy moment with y’all... mind totally BLOWN! P.S. I love this song. 😊💕

This brings me into August as one should - very cool
This is such a bop!!! I remember being shooketh when I randomly heard Ferris Wheel in Apple's Homepod Mini presentation two years ago. I've been a fan since I discovered What Now, and I went to my first concert of them in Amsterdam a couple days ago. I was vibing SO HARD, dancing and harmonizing to Amelia - who is simply magical; the flow in her dance, and the way she locks eyes with you until you forget the lyrics. Before the show they walked past the line in front of the venue, and nobody even noticed until they had crossed the street. I guess because of this they weren't expecting a lot form us before the show started. They're so cute and humble; after the show they said they were a bit overwhelmed by the energy of the crowd. But damn, for a reason: they have a stage presence, oh my. Keep on doing what you're doing cuties! It's working! Can't wait to see you again!
