Ah your intro made me tear up. I came back December and jan and it was devastating to see the fires from home. Of course it's horrible to see on the news in Spain but definitely hits harder when you can taste and see the smoke over your usually beautiful coastal view. Thanks for sharing xx

As an Aussie it's so good to see a video full of products I can actually buy, as you know a lot of your favourites don't ship here. And even more amazing bringing awareness to such an important cause. I'm fortunate enough to have been living in an area that wasn't to close to the fires when they were at their worst. Though a small town about an hour away was completely lost. For months the skies were just filled with smoke. The recent rain all up and down the east coast was such a blessing for all. As for the products you've shown, Lanolips is the #1 product I want to try. It looks like it be a great substitute for Vaseline. I love the packaging. The color and the vintage look of it.
I love that you share this topic with us, even though you are a beauty channel. I‘m so shocked about the dimensions this fire took and the actions of the Australian government as well. I am a student with a part time job and I can’t contribute much but I still want to help! Climate change will affect every single one of us in the end.
I really appreciate you using your platform for fundraising and raising awareness of the smaller pockets of the country needing help! One thing I am most worried about is the mental health effects of these disasters. I know that when people have lost assets and businesses, they're going to prioritise spending on immediate material things. But so many people are going to need psychological help and they won't even consider it because they'll think it's not an essential. Living through these traumas is going to cause a lot of depression and PTSD and strains on relationships and families, and I'm also afraid for the people who were already depressed or suicidal and this may be a trigger for them... I want to donate and go holidaying in Australia and buying things from rural businesses, but I'm jobless right now and needing to save for a UK holiday our family's already booked. Thank you Matilda for showing your passion for our country and encouraging people to support our local communities! x

I personally really struggled in January with the constant news coverage and some horrific images I'll never forget, so the grief must be truly unbearable for people who lost their homes, family members, friends, pets or livelihoods. Then there are the firefighters and volunteers who witnessed the horrors firsthand. They're all going to need so much help, so we have a very long road ahead 💔🇦🇺 x
I cried when you talk about the bushfire. Even if i'm not from Australia my heart breaks apart for all the precious wildlife loss. I donated for the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital and for sure in the future when i'm in a better position i will also contribute a small amount to your KI fundraiser. My school is very fussy about how they donate money and my friend and I want to donate money for the bush fires but people have already told us that we are most likely going to be rejected because if it isn’t for the school or a religious cause our school doesn’t care. For a religious school they don’t practice what they preach. But hopefully , if my headteacher responds, we will do a bake sale for it.

Haha we certainly have very different sunscreen regulations La'Kota! Not sure when Ultra Violette will make it to the US because the SPF ratings are so different there, and certain more modern ingredients aren't approved in the US so the brand would have to compromise their formulas (not ideal given they're so nice as they are!) ☀️ x

I don't think Go To is sold at US Sephora anymore. For a while the oil and a few other products were featured but when I last went, they were sold out in-store and online it didn't show up in searches.
Still a few Go-To products left online at Sephora Megan! But I noticed Face Hero has been out of stock for quite a while.. hopefully they're working on a re-stock and not phasing the brand out! 🤞 x

I’m so glad you continue to spread the word about SPF!! It’s extremely vital! Most people do not realize they have a problem until it’s quite advanced!! Even tho my daughters are young adults I continue to remind them to wear it! (One still lives at home while in college, so she hears it the most 😉) I was the last generation to go without. Google says it was introduced in 1938?? But I’m not that old! I’m thinking it became really “popular” & easy to find in the late ‘80’s. The formulas are so much better now!! No excuse not to wear it!

I have been following the Australian bush fires in the media and it's very sad to see how we just jump from one big topic to the next - the fires may not be raging anymore but the post-disaster relief has barely started, and there is no coverage at all. We are all focused on the coronavirus now and it's almost like Australia is all good now, the world's media have already forgotten about the issue. I'm glad you are still speaking on this at a time when it doesn't necessarily fall under the viral categories in social media - just adds to your integrity as an 'influencer'. As for the makeup side of things, I am a huge fan of your videos and was recently thinking that it would be amazing to see a video with your favorites from Chanel - I know you recently did a brand review of Nudestix and Kosas, and I really enjoyed the format. When the pictures of burning australia went viral on instagram i felt devastated.. Here in my city kolkata, india all the newschannel was covering all the news and i was just about all those people who lost their homes and also those animals who lost their homes and family members as well.. I'm just a high school student now and i always wanted to visit to Australia and i still want to visit Australia.. I love the country so much and seeing them in this stage is absolutely devastating.. I told my boyfreind about it and when he wanted to make a litte present he went to Sephora and bout a coconut Lanolips for me :) I am really nervous these past months because my grandma was sick and my mom was tired and angry all the time. I already had this bad habit ot biting my lips but it got really bad after all that stress happened... and my lips were so crusty all the time because keratin was just produced layers upon layers... It almost looked like I had a big callus on my lips! Putting this balm made me think twice before biting so lips got better :)

These were relatively difficult to find in the Philippines but I managed to get my hands on them. I have to say, the Ultra Violette Sunscreen, Lanolips Ointment and the Go-To Moisturizer (from another video) were all very much worth the wait! I've been using them for a while now and found that my skin feels so much healthier. Just wish I had easier access 😭 Thank you for the wonderful recommendations ♡

As an Aussie it's so good to see a video full of products I can actually buy, as you know a lot of your favourites don't ship here.
And even more amazing bringing awareness to such an important cause. I'm fortunate enough to have been living in an area that wasn't to close to the fires when they were at their worst. Though a small town about an hour away was completely lost. For months the skies were just filled with smoke. The recent rain all up and down the east coast was such a blessing for all.

I really appreciate you using your platform for fundraising and raising awareness of the smaller pockets of the country needing help! One thing I am most worried about is the mental health effects of these disasters. I know that when people have lost assets and businesses, they're going to prioritise spending on immediate material things. But so many people are going to need psychological help and they won't even consider it because they'll think it's not an essential. Living through these traumas is going to cause a lot of depression and PTSD and strains on relationships and families, and I'm also afraid for the people who were already depressed or suicidal and this may be a trigger for them...
I want to donate and go holidaying in Australia and buying things from rural businesses, but I'm jobless right now and needing to save for a UK holiday our family's already booked. Thank you Matilda for showing your passion for our country and encouraging people to support our local communities! x

I personally really struggled in January with the constant news coverage and some horrific images I'll never forget, so the grief must be truly unbearable for people who lost their homes, family members, friends, pets or livelihoods. Then there are the firefighters and volunteers who witnessed the horrors firsthand. They're all going to need so much help, so we have a very long road ahead 💔🇦🇺 x

I cried when you talk about the bushfire. Even if i'm not from Australia my heart breaks apart for all the precious wildlife loss. I donated for the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital and for sure in the future when i'm in a better position i will also contribute a small amount to your KI fundraiser. My school is very fussy about how they donate money and my friend and I want to donate money for the bush fires but people have already told us that we are most likely going to be rejected because if it isn’t for the school or a religious cause our school doesn’t care. For a religious school they don’t practice what they preach. But hopefully , if my headteacher responds, we will do a bake sale for it.

Waiting for the day the FDA gets their mind right so I can get my hands on the Ultra Violette sunscreens here in the states! I still don’t understand why they would block it here, considering all the rigorous testing Aussie spfs go through!
Haha we certainly have very different sunscreen regulations La'Kota! Not sure when Ultra Violette will make it to the US because the SPF ratings are so different there, and certain more modern ingredients aren't approved in the US so the brand would have to compromise their formulas (not ideal given they're so nice as they are!) ☀️ x

I don't think Go To is sold at US Sephora anymore. For a while the oil and a few other products were featured but when I last went, they were sold out in-store and online it didn't show up in searches.
Still a few Go-To products left online at Sephora Megan! But I noticed Face Hero has been out of stock for quite a while.. hopefully they're working on a re-stock and not phasing the brand out! 🤞 x

I’m so glad you continue to spread the word about SPF!! It’s extremely vital! Most people do not realize they have a problem until it’s quite advanced!! Even tho my daughters are young adults I continue to remind them to wear it! (One still lives at home while in college, so she hears it the most 😉) I was the last generation to go without. Google says it was introduced in 1938?? But I’m not that old! I’m thinking it became really “popular” & easy to find in the late ‘80’s. The formulas are so much better now!! No excuse not to wear it!

Loved the video! I have been following the Australian bush fires in the media and it's very sad to see how we just jump from one big topic to the next - the fires may not be raging anymore but the post-disaster relief has barely started, and there is no coverage at all. We are all focused on the coronavirus now and it's almost like Australia is all good now, the world's media have already forgotten about the issue. I'm glad you are still speaking on this at a time when it doesn't necessarily fall under the viral categories in social media - just adds to your integrity as an 'influencer'.
As for the makeup side of things, I am a huge fan of your videos and was recently thinking that it would be amazing to see a video with your favorites from Chanel - I know you recently did a brand review of Nudestix and Kosas, and I really enjoyed the format. When the pictures of burning australia went viral on instagram i felt devastated.. Here in my city kolkata, india all the newschannel was covering all the news and i was just about all those people who lost their homes and also those animals who lost their homes and family members as well.. I'm just a high school student now and i always wanted to visit to Australia and i still want to visit Australia.. I love the country so much and seeing them in this stage is absolutely devastating.. I am really nervous these past months because my grandma was sick and my mom was tired and angry all the time. I already had this bad habit ot biting my lips but it got really bad after all that stress happened... and my lips were so crusty all the time because keratin was just produced layers upon layers... It almost looked like I had a big callus on my lips! Putting this balm made me think twice before biting so lips got better :)

These were relatively difficult to find in the Philippines but I managed to get my hands on them. I have to say, the Ultra Violette Sunscreen, Lanolips Ointment and the Go-To Moisturizer (from another video) were all very much worth the wait! @@matildaonvideo I'm not trying to persuade you to do anything, but maybe you could share in an instagram post *how* you store make up so it stays clean, organised and doesn't expire sooner than necessary. You don't need to show the collection to explain how to organise make up. ^-^ But if you don't want to do that, that's alright. I like the content the way it is.
I'm a fellow South Aussie girl and was heartbroken to see the effect of the bushfires. Would encourage everyone to check out KI and the Adelaide Hills region, you won't be disappointed, SA is still open for business.
