Why do people look down on those who spend $40 on hand wash? It’s expensive but pampering yourself isn’t and shouldn’t be frowned on. I, recently, bought their hand lotion, face wash and scalp treatment and it’s worth it. Trust me, you WILL feel better when you use it and that’s never a bad thing
Trivia : Aesop is owned by Natura and Co. (Brazil cosmetics company) together with The Body Shop, Avon and Natura. Natura and Co also the global fourth largest cosmetics industry too.
Honestly it lasts for a very long time. Its like a spa at home every time you wash your hands or shower. It makes me super calm whenever I get home so to me its worth every penny. Side note: the smell from aesop products are not fragrance but botanical extracts, they have a purpose. Which is why I never get sick of it, to the contrary of fragrances
Thank you for this Aēsop appreciation episode. I'm on my fourth bottle of Fabulous Face Oil and second for Damascan Rose Facial Treatment. Their fragrance range is also divine. Hwyl and Tacit are my favourite. The Blue Camomile Hydrating Masque is also lovely ❤
I would love to see you do a video delving into the Aesop skincare line. Although I was overwhelmed by all the skincare products I did end up getting a cleanser and moisturizer which I've been testing out this last month - so far I really like it but would be good to get your thoughts!
While these can be pretty bougie, having nicely scented self-care products can be a "treat yourself" experience - unless one is sensitive to some essential oil components. Also, the sodium salt carrageenan tends to be used in some cosmetic applications as a thickener (think serums and essences), and its preparations are used for wound cover and drug delivery. The slightly tacky texture of the Lucent Facial Concentrate can probably be attributed to these, as well as the xanthan gum in the ingredient list. :) Makes me think this could work as a primer? Fun fact: Carrageenan can be used along with agar to prep lab culture media (think petri dishes and tube slants to grow those lovely microbes), as well as to make gulaman, a gelatin-like dessert (though it has a different texture, more like 'crisp and can be crumbly gel' as compared to the smooth texture of gelatin).
Could you please do a video with your best tips for dehydrated skin ? The current weather in Germany and the heater inside is killing my skin but I haven’t found a routine wich is keeping my hydrated ALL DAY. After a few hours my skin is crying for hydration again … 😢
The fragrance in any skincare is unnecessary, are Irritants & people can develop an allergy them. Especially in face products, it’s like putting perfume on your face.
Do you know if the lucent serum is really equivalent to other niacinamide and vitamin c serums? In terms of how much of those ingredients are really in each drop? I love using it and just bought a bottle, but want to make sure it’s equally or more effective than something from, say, the inkey list
Sorry, I am an Aussie but I am not a fan of Aesop hand products. They only have exfoliant hand soaps and sometimes can be a bit too much and boring. The hand creams make the skin around my cuticles peel. They aren’t cheap either but I ended up throwing them out after sitting next to the sink collecting dust.
If a dentist is telling you you have six cavities, you probably don't. Make sure you are going to a private dentist and not one of those chain dentists that give you a free cleaning and tell you there are more problems than there really are!
People spend so much money mindlessly over a 1 month span whether it’s a target, door dash, drinking alcohol, Netflix the list goes on. If you budget and strategically only buy what you love you can afford anything you want.

It’s because there is alot of jealous unhappy people. I have it and I love it!
I agree! People love to hate.
It alleviates all my stress from the moment I get in the shower. Worth every penny.

L'Oreal announced in April 2023 that it will acquire Aesop from Natura.
Its Loreal now
Not anymore 🇫🇷
There is nothing humble about a $40 hand wash.
People probably spend money in worse ways.
It’s the way the bottle looks in your bathroom 🚽
Better than buying useless “designer” bags

I love their sublime mask and their b triple c gel mixed with b and tea toner 🥰 also their body exfoliants smell and feel amazing.
Yeah, the aesthetic is quite cool but even if I was a billionaire I wouldn’t spend 40$ just on handsoap lol
You obviously haven’t tried it!
Yeah that’s false lol
i have been using the aesop hand soap for like 15 years 😭 reverence is where it’s at
Finally!!! A video about Aesop 🙌

That was so lovely! I visited my first store today and got some samples - can’t wait to try!
I started out with the hand balm and got into more of their product line
This video reminded me of that “10 people died in the Bronx last night due a fire that killed 10 people in the Bronx last night during a fire” meme
Next should do mouth care!!! As a dental assistant mouth care is self care as well!!!

wait wait is the back of your hand really the closest to your face skin or like is that just the most convenient part to test products
I love aesop
This had a great vibe…
I know it’s expensive but so worth t it.
I have a dupe for the Aēsop exfoliating soap but not sure you can find it in America...
Just get raw ingredients for less than actual cost of Aesop product and make X5 or more the volume of the aesop product
I just found out that tape water is damaging my skin so if you want to talk about it in one of you're videos i will be really grateful.🤩😇❤😁😇🥰
Can I use Pyungkang Yul Moisture cream after applying The Mirical AHA BHA PHA Toner?

Interesting Brand
I wont support the brand anymore after they sold out to Loreal and their air freshener are now $75 a bottle like wtf is that ?

Your doing advertising for them
The prices make me sick. The products may b nice, but I would never pay what they choose for pricing. It's rediculous!!!!!

Do you mean that you have a dark complexion or that you have dark patches on your face?
Love and respect yourself as you are. If you don’t, how can you expect others to do so?
@@tatianabritton6258 - are you American?
Why would you want skin whitening. Love yourself even with the pigmentation..
