I don't understand what a digital distribution as a telecom provider means. Does it mean that their mobile phones are on their laptops now? Do they have virtual numbers? Or is it simply that software updates are pushed over the web on their boxes? How does a virtual distribution model look like? There is also no explanation as to how Nike or John Deere incorporated digital information into their products. For I keep having the issue: if I'm not too familiar with the company, it's very hard to follow what you mean.
The most important learning process is the study of our human mind and the level of vulnerability therein. The answer is that of the minds enlightenment which can be achieved by the study of metaphysics. A hurdle no doubt, but well worth the effort as we have a limited gift of life in which to learn.
Great video and an absolute delight to watch. A perfect sense of how to capture all the things in a company including supply and demand side of business processes.
i know Im asking randomly but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot my account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me!
Tries to make sense of the relationship between digital and old school economics... Puts together a hexagon broken up into sections and slaps it on every business major’s forehead
Nonsense stuff :) Fundamentally wrong. How can you put two different things on the same axis? Demand and Supply are two different things and you put it on the same axis, demand going on the left side and supply going on the right side. Get the fundamentals right guys: (1) If demand exceeds supply, do you need strategy? (You are going to sell anyway.) (2) If supply exceeds demand, you definitely need strategy. Economics puts quantity on x-axis and price on y-axis, then plots the demand and supply curves on it. it is wiser to stick to that than your framework :)
You're thinking about it too literally. It's consulting after all (there's lots of room for manipulation and adjustment). It's not as black and white as economics. Think of the demand and supply as directions on a compass.
Yet another video proving that McKinsey folks are good at presentations and throwing around buzz words

It is a good description of what Operations Management do: match supply & demand in an economic manner.
