Super Rod are an essential bit of kit… I had a job the other day and they saved so much time, I love the mag bit and chain.

      I think it’s this one - www.amazon.co.uk/Milwaukee-932471067-PACKOUT-Duffel-50cm/dp/B07QG6SDRQ?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
But double check the sizes if you’re ordering it

11:08 Jack standing on the top of the step ladder 😢 hope you have good insurance for when he falls off! Not a good example to set

Hardly the top of the ladder considering the camera was mounted at about 7ft from the floor 😅

@@stevedavies4052 He was on the very top step when installing the camera at the back of the house which was above 7ft. I think you are getting mixed up with when he was doing the camera on the garage at the front.

@@stevedavies4052 He is standing on the top of the step ladder at 10 minutes and eight seconds into the video. Don’t get me wrong we have all done it. But not good practice by a professional CCTV installer on UA-cam.

Wouldn't it be better to use an SSD instead of an 3.5" HDD?

SSDs doesn't make sense on CCTV installations, because are more expensive and his advantages (speed) are not needed on CCTV. Also, HDD has longer life than SSD on CCTV installations, because we're constantly writing and deleting data

Like pedro said, SSDs are more expensive to buy and as far as I know , but don’t quote me, SSDs aren’t designed to be run at maximum capacity all the time.
The HDD we buy are surveillance grade and spin slow to prolong their life.

After having hikvisionn for the last 10 years plus and convincing family and friends, all of then have changed to different manufacturers, I haven’t changed mine yet as we are moving, I up graded to all singing and dancing true knight with flashy even gong off and alarm if you want it, upgrade dvr to the id one. Can’t even read car number plate that is only 10 feet away, had a old Nokia brick phone with a battery camera 😮😮😮😮😮😮
