Maybe it's just me but I'm not really a big fan of soft-top 911s. I still prefer the coupes and currently am lucky enough to have a 1996 993 Carrera...Iris blue, manual, hard-back sports seats, sunroof, aircon, even a rear wiper (gasp)! My wife and I (plus our little muttly) have just returned from a week up in Derbyshire and I managed to extract 28mpg on the way home! Many miles of a 50mph speed limit on the M1 probably helped no end but, hey, not bad for a 3.6 litre flat 6. Loving the vids, please keep it up! Cheers from a rather chilly Otford, Kent.
Nice. I've a 1996 993 C2 iris blue metallic, 66,000 miles, 6-speed manny tranny, varioram, LSD. No CEL, no oil leaks. Multi-show full-concours winner. I do my own maintenance. I'm never selling it.
Also had a 1995 F355 Berlinetta (lucky boy!) Fantastic car, but, oh boy, the maintenance on those is eye-watering (engine out every 3 years for the cambelts - ouch!) Nevertheless, loved it for more than 10 years and was actually the cheapest car I have ever owned ( purchased in 2011 for £35k and sold in 2021 for £75k). Miss it like mad, but still enjoying the little 911 and my new project car, a 1986 BMW 635CSi. Happy days. Keep on trucking guys!
In the US 964 and 993 cabrios are about the half of the price of coupes. Significant difference also in the Europe. Why didn't you put the "993 cabrio" to the title as the coupes are in completely different price category? The 964/993 coupes are crazy expensive. It's a good advice but the video title is a bit misleading. Cheers.

993 Cabs are fantastic, value for money in classic 911s can't beat it.
Very good assessment ....just picked one up myself. Remember when the 996 Turbo was $30-35k......and now ? He knows of what he speaks.

If only I lived in the UK. To import here Hong Kong you pay 50% first registration tax.
997.2 is the best classic 911!
