The old lady turning into the dog was sort of left on a loose end, she didn’t make a re appearance, overall great series though
She lived in the same house Richard toynbee learnt how to control mices
I was surprised at the end when I found out they were super beings that used Pioneer plaque to copy human form
Does anyone know what the little tune is called on the “numbers radio” ? It’s stuck in my head and I want to know what it’s called 😂

Tbh, I have just finished to watch it and I don't know if I would be the only one, but I think that Dave and JoJo are Adam and Eve. Eve wants to come back to Heaven because but Dave has accepted this new life. That's the reason for Dave's behaviour. He doesn't like to swear and he's trying to protect all the world. However, JoJo is more clever, and she wants to achieve the immortality, using pawns like Tonnebey. In fact, all the series would have a biblical background.
What's more, you can see the difference between these two characters. Dave loves new technologies and tries to make the world better. Jojo tries to be seen only by the ones who she thinks that useful and hates the new technology (it could be because she knows who Dave is).
It was a nice review.
My thoughts exactly, when Dave shows a paper drawing of a man and woman and a vast area. It was a dead giveaway.
@@anuragswain3469 That paper Drawing is from what Nasa sent into Space, that exact image. They clearly are extra terrestrial beings.
I thought Astrid was a bit too obvious. She never changed outfits or even wore a coat. Not sure about that ending. Aliens? Gods? Both? Felt like a step too far.
Nasa sent the drawing Dave had into space. They are definitely from Space.
I think the whole point of the family being so inviting is because that would be the opposite of what is expected. I think Nick Frost's character said something along the lines of "they're not gonna let us in" and then they were the most welcoming people. It was plaid for laughs.
The only thing about the dad in the Hinckley house that made you buy it was the daughter knowing them from truthseekers, that sort of saved it
It seemed more like god vs the devil.
Simon Pegg was god, and JoJo74 was the devil.
Both were trying to influence someone to do their will, and they were attempting to see who would win.
Simon Pegg's character was way too clueless finding out someone is watching him and broadcasting it, yet he is the head of Smyle. I suspected he wasn't who he portrayed to be, all of a sudden BAM, bring me my 8G setup to boost the signal!
A sequel would be very awesome to me since it seems that Simon pegg would be a much more main character as a possible main villain.
Very very fun show and you can tell Simon and nick had a lot to do with the humour which worked so well in its favour
Astrid never changed her clothes. had to be a ghost and i guessed it

I thought that Astrid got possessed in the hospital which was why she had such a personality switch after. Especially after we saw the old lady getting possessed by the dog.
That being caused by an apology from ghost mum surprised me.
Just finished, great show.

When he said "Are you trying to get me out of my office again?" I thought that was a very god and satan in joke. However her saying "At least you wore clothes this time" Made me think Adam and Eve. Maybe they could even be other angels.
It was a good show but the Simon Pegg character and Jojo role and purpose should have been expanded on more into something bigger and deeper than the Dr Who type villain and ending which was kind of an Anti climax after all the build up. I'm guessing they were planning to do this in Season 2 but it was cancelled.
Plus Astrid liked "Friends" which was out years ago
I hope there’s a season 2 I picked up on astrid wearing the same clothes throughout the whole season I thought it was strange but didn’t know why
I thought the old lady/dog might make another appearance, so that was left a bit open ended.
The fact that Simon's character was being watched and didn't know it was the lady was a stretch. If they were gods, wouldn't he have known?
She also told Simon "I see your precious Astrid crossed over" - what was that about? Why was Astrid precious to Simon?
Finally - what was the ghostly character with the big nose that kept appearing - especially in the last episode? Was that supposed to be Death maybe, coming to collect the souls?
Who or what was the last ghost? The ghost with the stranger mask that follow to Astrid due all de chapters.
I am wondering if there are any religious texts regarding the significance of a blue rose. There could be a clue in that.

The picture which Pegg shows MacDonalds character is the “Pioneer Plaque” the first one was sent into space on Pioneer 10 on March 2, 1972, and the 2nd one was sent Pioneer 11 on April 5, 1973. So it’s definitely implied they are from off world
