I'm such a Eric Burdon and Animals fan. Most underrated vocalist from the British invasion. People don't realize that of the British Bands that came to America the Animals were before the Stones in popularity. In the late 90's and early 2000's I got to hang out with Eric when he would come to the N.Y. area, he was touring alot with a very good band. Ansley Dunbar was on drums, Dave Meros on bass and a young guy on guitar that ripped it up.
Never saw this, Ian Dory and the Block Heads song Hit Me with your Rythm Stick, that im a big fan of and Eric Burdon. Saw this part beforehand buy dont remember the Ian Dory thing in the beginning. Cant count how many time i have seen Eric, he is still an original. Meet him a few times in the early 2000's and he was playing in small clubs. He had a lot of respect to the fans. Have not seen him in about 6 years.
TOMMIE BELL He was hot alright, but why in the hell should he retire. Just cuz he’s OLD. He can still sing and what would you like him to do in his retirement. Good god this is his life. You don’t get. Memories come when they die. He’s far from dead
If he did that younger fans like me would never have had a chance to hear him. And I'd have rather have spent my money on him than 90% of the crap out there today. He rocks!
He'll be a legend forever - such a great singer

This was badass at the pier. The way they opened up w this literally gave me chills
That Ian Dury in the intro was unexpected.

He was great in his time, but I think he needs to be a memory now and retire. Enjoy his life and let us have our great memories of a great HOT singer.
