@@_blagh3621 Sorry for such a late responde. I did have bleached and dry hair, but for last 6 months I am not coloring my hair any more. Yes the genesis is meant to reduce hair falling from hair damadge, sesonal changes and hormonal changes. It is really moustirizing. In my opinion way more then olaplex products. For bleached hair I would recomment the hair mask, but if you hair is thin and it get's oily quickly then better use conditioner 😊

Many times “hair fall” is just natural shedding that we are overreacting to. The longer your hair is, the more it will appear as in your hand because there is so much in one strand. I think we forget to explain that part too, the marketing to sell hair products rarely mention that part. Shedding hair is a perfectly natural thing. Makes room for new growth 😘

Heidi Mine too! I know that when I give my hair more attention I see much less on the floor of my shower LOL As long I treat my hair well, less of it comes out. I will say though, as I age those treatments aren’t working as well as they used to. I have entered peri menopause early (started at 41, I am now 46) and have a hormonal imbalance because of it, unfortunately no exterior hair treatment can prevent the shedding or breakage due to that 😩 So, now more than ever I have to keep my hair at optimum health. Which is probably what led me to your channel! So thank you for posting these videos!
@@NativeNYerChicHK I have suffered terrible hormone related hair breakage. I have been using Olaplex 0 and 3, and using Kerastase Genesis shampoo and conditioner. The hair breakage stopped after 2nd use. Not decreased- stopped. My hormone condition has not gone away- I am under constant care of the doctor so it isn't that my body is 'balancing out'.I had only just started using the Kerastase S&C when I tried Olaplex, otherwise I would have tried the Olaplex S&C also, but now I don't want to change anything seeing as this is working. Ive tried every product on the market and this is the combination that is working for me. If you have a bit of money to spare- I suggest you try it- esp. the olaplex. Your post was a year ago so maybe you've found something that helps. Hope so- seeing more of your hair in your brush or wound up in the vacuum cleaner than is on your head is miserable.

I can't go wrong with Kerastase, all the products work for me. I ordered this mask too so hopefully 😂 I still think you would love the Cicaflash conditioner from Kerastase, if you don't you can blame me 💃

Your hair looks pretty good as usual. Kerastase is one of the best brands for hair care, but in order to see if it actually controls hair damage, you need to tested for a longer time. In only one use is hard to notice any changes. Plus, I do have question....your hair falls from the roots, so isn't this mask should be used on your scalp too?? Just curious. Take care💞💞💖💖💖
Exactly my point! I suffer from heavy hair loss from the roots due to oily scalp and weak roots. So im treating this problem first then ill think about purchasing this mask!

I LOVE Kerastase but the Genesis mask not only didnt do anything for my hair, but also cause me headache because the smell is so strong and bad. It smells like a very cheap men's cologne and wont fade out. I still have half of the jar and simply cant use it :( ooh... and by the way didnt do much for my hair. The nutritive, resistance and chroma versions are way better

Thanks for sharing your experience! Everyone’s hair is different. Right now, I’m not dying my roots. But I would say my natural base color is around a level 7 or 8.
Hi! I see that the genesis line has Amixenil which is similar to minoxidil. Have you noticed or heard of any side effects after using this line. Like skin irritation, facial hair growth etc? Typical side effects of Aminexil? Thank you.
Im from the uk and just looked up the ingredients list for This hair mask and I can see it contains Isopropyl Alcohol, right at the top of the ingredients list which is a bad drying alcohol. I try to avoid it because I have dry, damaged hair & over time it could dry your hair out even more. If it was further down the ingredients list it wouldn't be as bad but for the price having a drying alcohol right at the top of the ingredients list I think doesnt justify the price tag, Its a no no for me.

The kerastase genesis mask vs the kerastase discipline mask for frizz control ? Which one would you recommend ? I have used the kerastase discipline mask for 2 years and am wondering if the genesis is a worthy substitute? Btw love love Love all your hair videos.

Great results I started using kerastase nutritive shampoo and mask and hair leave I milk . Very impressed going to stick to kerastase because its the only products that work for me. Bit expensive but worth it.
The GENESIS line has NO SILICONE in the Clear SHAMPOO, Daily CONDITIONER and the SERUM. It HAS SILICONE in the Creme SHAMPOO, MASK and HEAT PROTECTOR.Very nice. a little something for everyone!
Yeah the ingredients are silicones which I’m not against but it should not be that expensive. I’ve seen a few anti inflammatory ingredients in there but that’s if you put it on your scalp. Your hair came out beautiful so that speaks for itself.
No, the product says it’s hair fall due to breakage ☹️ I’m not a dermatologist but I believe hairfall in men is either genetic or hormonal. Unless you bleach, color your hair and use heat tools. Then it may be due to breakage.

Hola, consulta estoy usando esta línea génesis completa que me recomendaron pero noto que me deja las puntas muy secas, tengo el cabello fino y graso por el tema de la grasa me lo trata bien dura días en ponerse graso pero en tema de suavidad no me lo deja nada suave en las puntas, cuando paso el peine se queda pegado y la mascarilla siento que me lo pone peor (la uso una vez por semana) pero me lo pone grasoso y las puntas súper secas, no entiendo porque? Me puedes ayudar?

I still believe Olaplex cannot be compared to a hair mask. In fact, it doesn’t do any hydration or deep conditioning. But what Olaplex does a hair mask hasn’t done for me so far. Hope that makes sense.
I wondered about that because it was heavily promoted by beauty influencers. So naturally I didn’t bother because of the disappointments in my past for listening to them. 😂

Your hair looks pretty good as usual. Kerastase is one of the best brands for hair care, but in order to see if it actually controls hair damage, you need to tested for a longer time. In only one use is hard to notice any changes. Plus, I do have question....your hair falls from the roots, so isn't this mask should be used on your scalp too?? Just curious. Take care💞💞💖💖💖

I LOVE Kerastase but the Genesis mask not only didnt do anything for my hair, but also cause me headache because the smell is so strong and bad. It smells like a very cheap men's cologne and wont fade out. I still have half of the jar and simply cant use it :( ooh... and by the way didnt do much for my hair. The nutritive, resistance and chroma versions are way better

Thanks for sharing your experience! Everyone’s hair is different. Right now, I’m not dying my roots. But I would say my natural base color is around a level 7 or 8.

Im from the uk and just looked up the ingredients list for This hair mask and I can see it contains Isopropyl Alcohol, right at the top of the ingredients list which is a bad drying alcohol. I try to avoid it because I have dry, damaged hair & over time it could dry your hair out even more. If it was further down the ingredients list it wouldn't be as bad but for the price having a drying alcohol right at the top of the ingredients list I think doesnt justify the price tag, Its a no no for me.

Yeah the ingredients are silicones which I’m not against but it should not be that expensive. I’ve seen a few anti inflammatory ingredients in there but that’s if you put it on your scalp. Your hair came out beautiful so that speaks for itself.

No, the product says it’s hair fall due to breakage ☹️ I’m not a dermatologist but I believe hairfall in men is either genetic or hormonal. Unless you bleach, color your hair and use heat tools. Then it may be due to breakage.
Does this helps with damage bleach hair and the thinner hair.

Hola, consulta estoy usando esta línea génesis completa que me recomendaron pero noto que me deja las puntas muy secas, tengo el cabello fino y graso por el tema de la grasa me lo trata bien dura días en ponerse graso pero en tema de suavidad no me lo deja nada suave en las puntas, cuando paso el peine se queda pegado y la mascarilla siento que me lo pone peor (la uso una vez por semana) pero me lo pone grasoso y las puntas súper secas, no entiendo porque? Me puedes ayudar?

I still believe Olaplex cannot be compared to a hair mask. In fact, it doesn’t do any hydration or deep conditioning. But what Olaplex does a hair mask hasn’t done for me so far. Hope that makes sense.

Hey the shampoo would work for the scalp. The mask goes on the hair 😊 I think they have a genesis serum wich you can use on the scalp though, you can check it out!
