Man I didn't realize there were chests with materials, I gathered all my materials, and build a tiny wood Shed hahaha I love this game so much, I Can't wait until it comes out, I have spent ALL my time since the Stress Test ended searching up video's and stream vods of people playing it haha I can't get enough of it.
Not sure about this one just yet. Picked up Enshrouded and it has really hit all the check marks for me so far. Most notably is the way they handle food and how it works as buffs with no actual requirement to eat.
Nightengale works the same way with food, they are both based on Valheims system.
Just a personal preference, but these kinds of games I feel are better suited for personal play rather than let's plays due to the complexity and how in-depth they are. Looks very interesting and fun though.
I loved the Stress test -- though some stuff was confusing cause you kind of start with advanced unlocks... In general didnt like the guns much -- the scythe was fast and great with wolves -- and i loved the 'Bees' spell on it..... The Climbing picks made up wall and up-cliff stuff good (once i figured out how to work it) -- and the Umberella is real useful and fun to get down off of stuff. The Spell stuff in general is interesting ... It does need an 'Encyclopedia Britannica (lore friendly concept) though i feel for stuff obvious to the developers but not to the uninitiated (had no clue where i got the initial stone dust i used to build from') --- Great looking and feeling Game - especially for an Alpha build... Look forward to see more from kage on this.

Takes up 1GB like Unshrouded as the largest open world game. Starting torch held in your hands inventory, that lights up when the first sun sets, you can craft Guns in the weapons category too! 🔦 ⚒️

Its important to know that this recent stress test wasnt at its most capacity due to steam not sending the invitation emails, therefore giving reason your game did very well on a server setting. I would assume normally if the invited people showed up there would at least be some hiccups but i digress. Im glad it wasnt all jumpy and jacky, excited for its release very soon :)

They actually changed the release date this morning. It now releases on February 20th just wanted to update everyone.
It looks like it needs a lot of work yet. The combat, resource collecting, and the framerate look pretty jank.

Just confirming what Kage said in the video, you will start with next to nothing. You will have to learn to craft cards and portals by running a questline for Puck.
Some of the worlds you can create are amazing, others are... deadly. Multiplayer works pretty well, you can invite someone to play with you each session, or share your respite realm with them and allow them to log into your shared realm anytime (whether you are online or not).
I loved my time in Nightingale so far. I fear for my schedule and personal health when it releases... I'll be sinking a lot of time into this.

You don't seem to move around objects they seem flat like paper cutouts, with no depth to the world just flat objects, the stress test would work

@@EuelBall steampunk is subgenre where the technology toke a different route and we got steam-powered machine, while nightingale is gaslamp, while is in the same era ( Victorian ) we don’t get steam-powered machine but instead supernatural elements (

Big pass on this one. Too much looking bad to me. Bad UI, bad AI, bad combat, bad inventory, always online in solo play. The world looks nice though. Everything else is meh so far.
So this is on a server? You can't play it offline. No thanks. I wonder when idiots will wake up to the fact that they are not paying for a game, only access to one.

@OneTomato it's bioware. The creators of bioshock. Well known for its fantasization of the industrial/steampunk aesthetic. This is basically the same thing. You can call it gaslamp but at that point it's just a subgenre of steampunk. The same goes for music genres.
@@GenDrake3 sorry to break it to you but no, gaslamp is not a subgenre of steampunk, these two are completely different, they are both a sub genre of fantasy and historical fiction.
Steampunk is focus on a different development of science during the Victorian are where there are steam powered machines.
While gaslamp genre instead of going with steam powered machine it goes for supernatural elements.

@@CrisNevesArt That's a different argument. But don't go selling enshrouded like it's complete or anywhere near Nightingale. It's a neat framework for a completely hollow and boring game after you get through the abysmally light content. They have a LOT of work ahead of themselves.
I generally like enshrouded but it's like years away from being a good game. unless you're just ok with a week of casual content and like 10 enemy types, most of which have basic attacks and no real challenge to speak of

Not even Close, This is a Victorian era Survival Crafter with story quests, Not a first person shooter, Just because you can play First person, and Just because you can use guns if you want does not make a game a first person shooter.
My man! I thought I was incompetent for dying at the bossfight on the first take, but you, my guy, you take the cake, the candles and the song too. You literally set yourself up to receive the full charge of the helmet guy. That was painful to watch. I know, it is a stress test, I get it but…c'mon! Next time give us a change to see more content by being a bit more efficient.
