They really gotta do something with the graphics/animation. The movement is so, SO insanely stiff. Not just the character model, but everything as well as enemies in the game
Every video I watch about this game I discover something new that's even more incredible than I imagined, even though I'm already in love with the game and can't wait for the release. Thanks for the video.
There better be pretty huge improvements based on crafting then because if you're fighting a wabajack and without the improvements it takes five whacks to kill it, but if you spend 15 hours crafting you can do it in four, It's a waste of time.
I appreciate your putting these videos together for Nightingale, after finding Enshrouded to be like eating a stale bag of unflavored popcorn, this game has way more going for it to hold my interest. What remains to be seen is how varied/satisfying combat is, but their approach to exploration via realms and crafting so far is definitely a deep and thoughtful creation.
I really really hope this game turns out good. It's hard to tell currently because all footage and people trying game has been super early game and problem with that is survival games are almost always fun early game but most fall apart later game. I want to absolutely fall in love with this game but I am hesitant, expecially with seeing the endless negative threads in the steam forums, i can only hope that the negativity is unwarranted and this will be amazing, Or that some of issues we find are fixed as this is an early access game. The potential for this game though is enormous! I am hesitant though, combat for example looks good enough in early videos but if nothing changes as you progress and combat remains the same it may end up being boring. I hope servers run smoothly as most fully online games without a subscription or microtransactions always ends up with poor servers and eventually shut down of servers since you cannot maintenance the expensive hardware and bandwidth costs of running entire games online just based on initial cost, which makes me wonder how will they solve this, are they doing to regularly release DLC's, or are they going to add microtransactions and hope the whales will keep the game running and updates funded. I really want to love this game but in today's situation with countless survival games end up being a huge disappointment i can't help but worry there is a major catch, even in this video and all other videos i watch it's always people talking about the game with the official footage in background, makes you wonder what are they hiding by not giving reviewers and youtubers full access.
Wait what? i've watched dozens of videos and first time i heard of base attacks an needing base defenses. This makes no sense, your home world is supposed to be fairly safe, also what's point in all the trailers showing off these amazing homes if you can't actually live in them because of constant attacks or needing to build up defenses all around to protect it, seems strange that I am hearing base attacks for the first time.
Prove to me that this long tedious gaited grind is anywhere near as good as the open ended Ark/Atlas survival games?Obviously I know how scummy the developers of those games were but the game template imo far exceeds this Nightingale games design which imo is a lot of smokescreens and people will realize that after about a month or two of playing. When comes to gaming in a WORLD and immersion I need to see open ended gaming not a ton of grinding tiers/cards. I assume that just maybe down the road some modders will make the game better but for now it looks weak.
I hate the costumes the players wear. And the "Mary Poppins" umbrella travel. Crafting sounds more like "Micro-management" rather than fun. Interesting game, but I will pass.
Make sure to subscribe for more Nightingale content.
Oh yeah man I spent 5 hours gathering crude fiber and now I'm farming normal Fiber... Super exciting..

Swg had some of the best crafting, similar to what you’re explaining. Swg was one of the best. Because of this.

It sounds awesome, but also exhausting lol
Literally SWG was the first to do this, then Project Entropia. I am really surprised more games don't do this.

I don't like the overall art style. I liked the art style from Enshrouded much more.
👏 'promo sm'
Insane as in mediocre? There are plenty of other games that have superior crafting and they are not forced online only.

There's nothing wrong with the way Mary Poppins gets about. We cant have such slander.
