- There's a reason why MakeNoise doesn't have a dedicated drum module. They'll always encourage you to make your own noise. Telharmonic used to be the only module with a dedicated noise output, but it's discontinued. Fortunately the new Spectraphon firmware makes up for that loss. Strega's delay can also make a mighty rumble, but it needs to be shaped by an envelope to qualify as a percussive strike. If you have a 0-coast nearby, you can use the external input to do this.
I am using the LxD for this because it's a true vactrol based LPG. It's not discontinued (yet), but it's almost impossible to get. It used to sell around $100, but people dare to ask $300 for it now. You can still get the $200 Optomix so there's no need to pay that kind of cash. With the risk of repeating myself: get one before it's too late. If you don't have a LPG, you have too much VCA's. I am using an aftermarket LxD faceplate from a company that went out of business due to the cancel culture. There's a Christianity fish symbol on the back and the Community did not appreciate evangelism through faceplates. In the end, it's just a beautiful black LxD faceplate and it's taming my Witch. May the Lord open.
I am also getting a bit of help from my highly appreciated pair of Phonogenes. The black and gold used to be part of the shared system, but many people sold it when the Morphagene came - which is superior in every way except one. I'll explain tomorrow.

Same here. Most of my stuff evolves around sampling and effects.
Yes! My version is Telharmonic into (triggered) Beads, controlled by Marbles, and all modulated by a very slow Tides. I also like replacing the Telharmonic with triggered sampler of field recordings.

Well how refreshing to see regular posting again. Everything you do is inspiring. I have a small system inspired by you, but it could take years to really explore the possibilities . Strega keeps on giving. I was also inspired by the current rig that Alesandro seems to be using. O-Control, Strega and Bluesky x2. So basic. How about a Strega, Arbhar, Desmodus combo ?😂
Thanks for sharing! I need to check but I think I already did a Strega harvest with Arbhar. But Jamuary jams are just simple jams with no real plan or purpose. I'll put it on my list!

Fun patch! Even though I have Morphagene and love it I’d still love to have a phonagene… or two lol…. I’d like to have another Morphagene as well 😅 I guess the more creative sample mangling possibilities the better. I’m kind of addicted to that I think 😬
BKM was sending his customers chick tract comics with his panels. They're calls to convert to evangelical Christianity that call other faiths "false religions" and they're known for spreading false information. He quit when several manufacturers complained that they didn't want to be associated with that. He didn't get cancelled because of the ichthys.

I actually have a Phonogene on the way. My Morphagene developed a fault last month, and when a PG came up for sale the very day I posted the MG to the US it seemed like fate…

Kinda silly LXD prices are sitting where they are. People are also sleeping on optomixes (different sounds but still sounds dang good imo!) and tiptop quad low pass gates
Indeed, Schneidersladen doesn't have Optomix anymore. There were still in stock a few weeks ago...
Actually with some luck and patience it’s still possible to get a new LXD for a good price. I registered for notifications on availability for the LXD at Schneiders Laden maybe half a year ago. Just before Christmas, I got a notification that the LXD is now available, ordered immediately and received it next day for 138 € 😊. In the end I should have ordered two 🤷🏼♂️ …
