To be fair that isn't noticeable in daily use though. sure, if you game a lot and move large files a lot it might be noticeable, but I doubt that's most people.
@DeKiesel I brought this up because a few months ago, when the A55 was released, I thought it was an incremental upgrade from A53 and A54. Until I realise the upgrade from UFS 2.2 to 3.1 and LPDDR4X to LPDDR5 RAM. That puts it on par with S20 FE. My point is, there's more to storage and RAM than just the capacity it offers. The speed matters too. And it's a factor worth considering when it comes to price.

A55 all the way, s24 fe is too expensive, better just buy a regular s24 and its almost 3/4 times more expensive than the A55, u get the same with a less powerful processor and a slightly worse camera for hundreds less
Both phones is on sale currently and I decided to go with the S24FE for 280$ ✨👏🏻 the 7 years support tipped me over. And I wanted the slightly better camera.. they also had the A55 for 200$. Crazy good deals imo.

Currently using the A55. Was considering upgrading to the S24FE. But i didnt because id have to add USD$300 and I'm quite pleased with my A55. Only thing i like on the S24FE is Wireless Charging.
i feel so torn because the s24 has 7 years of software and security updates and the A series phones only have 4 years :( so the higher price feels more worth it. I've had the a52 since dec 2021 and for the past several months ive been noticing a significant decline in its performance with apps.

Bc I know the battery will decline faster before u get to have the 7y system update. It has even lower battery life than A series so I doubt we can use this phone until that. Samsung probably trick us with that 7y system update
@@meowppappa depends on what u wanna do with it, and how much usage u give the phone, im tech nerd (mostly pc) and don't see why someone will need something better than the A55 besides the camera. Also i use the phone to play time to time emulating ps2 on the micro SD (the phone has a microSD slot), also tried games like HSR and genshin with no problems.

Went through 3 S24's within 3 weeks back in july. All had different, major hardware and camera issues. Debating whether to give Samsung one more chance and to risk the S24FE or go for the Google Pixel 9 Pro.
Whomever says the S24 fe is expensive is full of sh1t or hasn't done his research. With all the current incentives and discounts, the S24fe is actually cheaper than the A55, on top of it all, The A55 is officially not avail in NA. Even tho the A55 is a nice phone, The S24 is a premium, flagship level handset with full IP68 water resistance, wireless charging, telephoto zoom lens and more, Also about 3 X faster than the A55 when it comes to performance. I got mine for $500- Cdn, which is about $350- USD after an employee discount and trade in option. That's less than what I paid for my S23fe, back in May.
I bought the A55 to my dad to replace A71, just 1 day before A71 got official Lineage build, because... the A55 does feel, performance wise..like a 5 year old A71. For someone who does not care about the performance and only uses a phone for messaging, calling, and dumbscrolling, I would probably rather go for A35. The A55 glossy finish looks cheaper than the plastic one, the phone is so damn heavy, it's s24 ultra heavy, but it's weird-heavy, not exactly top-heavy, it feels like the center of mass is somewhat in a corner, it's not well balanced when it comes to weight distribution. For a phone bundled with contract for few bucks, it's OK, but the price they are asking is ridiculous. You can buy it from some grey imports around 350 EUR, but the A35 could be had below 250, and that one is the one to get in A series for me. The A56 better be twice as fast and 50 grams lighter next year...
Why is gsmarena not talking about ufs?? A55 only have 2.1 on some regions. That means A LOT. Ufs 2.1 is slow, my tabs7fe has 2.1 and it's fukin slow and using ramplus on a ufs 2.1 storage makes the gadget slower instead of faster. Witholding ufs version on reviews makes people think only ram and processor matters when talking about speed.
The A55 is garbage! It LACKS in every way shape and form! It has a dismal CPU/GPU and only has USB 2.1 transfer speeds which are SLOW AF! SD card storage will NEVER match actual onboard storage speeds! It LACKS most of the AI features compared to an S24FE which now can be had for just a few dollars more! The A55 LACKS screen brightness and everything else. It's a lowly stumbling phone that is just a POS and would rather spend a few extra bucks for a REAL phone.
Thanks to this comparison, I now know I am better off waiting for the a56. Longer battery life and better temps, along with more sustained performances, despite being weaker compared to the S models, won me over.
The a55 has the ugliest selfie cam I've ever seen. I do not recommend this phone. From the samples shown here, I think the s24fe also has the same output
Personally i don't play games, i don't use DeX or wireless charging that is slow and destroying the battery. I've had the a55 and s24 and don't think there was such a big difference in photo quality so for me it's an easy choice picking up the a55 especially now during black week since the price is about half of the price of the s24 fe and considering the much better battery time you get with the a55.

After 12 years using Samsung phones I switch to Google phone I have Google pixel 8 pro I bought this 1 week ago after ,my last phone was S21 Fe was good one ,There was one fatal flaw I hated about Samsung phones, he took 100 screen shot in my pocket,and he turn on the songs all time while I'm at work 😂,I'm happy this are not happening with Google phones
The A55 is my 1st ever phone bought by myself, I don't regret it 1 bit. This thing is a modern day nokia, I dropped it against the toilet and it bounced off the sink and hit the toilet bowl, the back glass is completely fine, only a small dent on the rails. The durability is amazing and so far, everything has been smooth. A few bugs and lags here and there but, hey it's a midranger. I'll probably upgrade to the S25 for it's Qi2 wireless charging in the future. Btw i dont use a case with my A55, it's just that durable

I wouldnt get the Motorola personally. They don't provide good update support, the whole phone is plastic, the battery is small and the chip is weak.

I never had the A35, but I had the A54 which has the same processor as the A35 and the A55 is much better than the A54 performance wise.

After 12 years using Samsung phones I switch to Google phone I have Google pixel 8 pro I bought this 1 week ago after ,my last phone was S21 Fe was good one ,There was one fatal flaw I hated about Samsung phones, he took 100 screen shot in my pocket,and he turn on the songs all time while I'm at work 😂,I'm happy this are not happening with Google phones

The A55 is my 1st ever phone bought by myself, I don't regret it 1 bit. This thing is a modern day nokia, I dropped it against the toilet and it bounced off the sink and hit the toilet bowl, the back glass is completely fine, only a small dent on the rails. The durability is amazing and so far, everything has been smooth. A few bugs and lags here and there but, hey it's a midranger. I'll probably upgrade to the S25 for it's Qi2 wireless charging in the future. Btw i dont use a case with my A55, it's just that durable
