Great job, as always! If it were me, I would add a lining to the vest, so it’s a little more finished or sturdy. You can make a second vest out of a different fabric, exactly how you made this one, and sew them wrong sides together and it can be reversible.
She star embroidery looks sooo cute and completely changed the "feel" of the shirt! Seeing your thrift flips is inspiring me so much to take better care of my clothes and giving them second lives 💖
Okay it’s wild how removing the collar made that blouse so much better!! It just lets the sleeves finally shine and changes the whole shape. You’re making me think how removing is sometimes better than adding when a piece doesn’t work. Also the earring stones match your eyes so good choice 🤗

Great flips. I actually like the shooting star slightly off center. It's more interesting and looks deliberate.
The removed collar on mutton sleeve blouse makes such a massive difference, it looks so much more comfortable

next time when you have a plain shirt to flip you should try bleach painting the design! i literally love bleach painting shirts cause its super cool and it makes the designs look more alt :))

These are really really effective. I think your vest is just right, as the shirt is oversized the vest looks perfect as it is. I like the shooting star as it is too because shooting stars move so off centre is perfect 👏👏👏👏

If you fold up and sew a tshirt hem BEFORE cutting off the excess fabric, it can help a lot with that weird wavy stretchy thing at the hem

I do vote for the collar removal as well~ It was so neat and effective! Also, it's no problem that you made similar earrings, you should be doing whatever you want and they're cute. I was actually a little surprised that you didn't line the vest. Can't wait to see you style it, the combination with the white shirt was already fantastic.
I'd apply that white collar to a dress or sweater in a different color!

You could make a „fake collar“ out of the collar, you can just add a bow in the front. I did that too with a collar I removed from a blouse and endet up wearing it a lot. It’s so cute 🐒

I recently found an old blouse in a giveaway box on the street. It had a nice color and pattern, but the collar looked weird and the cut around the bust and waist wasn't flattering for me.
This video plus your video about layering inspired me to simply remove the collar and now I'm excited to wear the blouse under other garments like dresses or overalls, so I can show off the fun sleeves

My favourites are the vest (love that fabric!) and the earrings. Me and my sisters had a phase where we were really into making seed bead necklaces, so there are a lot of beads and other jewellery making supplies at my mum's house. I think next time I'm visiting I'll go make some earrings myself! Btw love the dating show intro ⚡️⚡️⚡️
omg i didn't know how the poofy shirt was gonna look without a collar but it looks AMAZING! you totally elevated it, it looks like a fancy designer piece now or something. i've also never sewn a vest before but it seems like it's a lot more simple than i was thinking so i need to try it out sometime!!

I know this video is a year old but I feel like you could make a neat bracelet with the collar? you could add beads or embroidery to it and a little button and have like a chunky but soft comfy bracelet!
I love your thrift flips. They always make me feel like I can go make something even if I have no idea what I'm doing. My favorite this time around is also the blouse- it looks so much neater without the collar. I also really liked the bead earring but I've also come into a crap ton of beads since a family member gave me some old necklaces and this seems like a good one to copy.
