Glad to see Battlecat getting the nod from his peers! Battlecat is so fire tho! And he has been for years! Shout out to Focus for doing what he did also! Must producer's get all Hollywood and wouldn't share or make that connection for another producer? Salute!
Thats A Fact Say What You Want About Dr. Dre I Don't Listen To Much Of The Negative Stuff But At The Same Time Stuff Is Out There About Things I Dont Agree With But I Feel Like The Aftermath Lineage Always Stays Solid And Keeps In Touch With One Another It Becomes More Then Just A Working Relationship And A Lot More Friendships I Feel Like Its A Super Dope Thing
i dont mean to be offtopic but does anybody know of a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me
Mad props to Battlecat the Super Chef!!! Any real mc would kill this!! Be nice to hear Jay-Z, Busta, Twista, & 3 Stacks collab. Just throwing that out there! But who wouldn't wanna bless this? Come on man!!!👍🏾👌🏾🎯
If Dre put his name on this track, I would think he produced it. That minimalist s&^%^$% is his style. This shows that Battlecat can easily make Dre beats.
The "problem“ with this beat is that "If There‘s A Cure For This" was already recorded back in the day by Snoop and Pac. And the bass line sounds awfully familiar to "Crooked Cops“.
i mean not really crooked cops i dont get and dre got plenty of people who could make it better too and add more sonic elements to it as always its easy to point out things you dont like that doesnt make it a problem
@@gc0rd645 Oh don‘t get me wrong, musically it‘s amazing. I was just one thing I was pointing out. I think it would sound weird having Dre twice on the same song/sample.
@@TobiasTimpe man Dre has sampled and flipped the same tracks over 100 times, it's not about using the same songs it's about what you can pull out of it as a producer. Rza used that same break beat from Melvin Bliss over thousand times but he altered it and changed it so much that you wouldn't even recognize it in the other songs he's used it in, it's all about how you flip a sample and make it sound new or different, doesn't matter how many times you use it that's why Dre was so shocked and was like send me that because he knows he can still fuck with it and bring life to it again and again
That's dope. Play it again... And Dr Dre pops up. That's cool bro.
If anyone is wondering what Battlecat is sampling, it's "Love Hangover" by Diana Ross
If Dre takes it, it aint never coming out.. lol
Imagine you make a beat on ig, all of a sudden dre pops up and hear your stuff and like it
That would be the dream moment...
That happens to me all the time… 😂
My favourite producer of the late early 2000s. Legendary
