That would've been a perfect send off. Still my favorite Hulk WrestleMania match to this day (Tied with WrestleMania 3). The Pop the crowd in Toronto gave Hogan was incredible! I remember seeing this as a young man in my early 20's, at a friend's house. We all pooled our money together to get the PaperView. Blame that on Kevin dunne. Because the reason the rings are harder and didn't have much give compared to the ones that used to be in WCW and ECW is because he didn't like the way they sounded on television when guys would bump so to make the ring quieter they had to make the surface harder.

I know when my sciatic nerve pain flares up, I have to do all sorts of weird things to prevent putting my body in positions that will cause unbearable surges of pain kind of like how he described when he moves himself away from the sink after brushing his teeth. I'll be getting a date to have surgery on my back in a couple weeks and have my L5 disc shaved and I really hope that prevents sciatica for a long time. That sort of pain really sucks LOL

So let's look at the real hulk Hogan. Stole his whole gimmick from superstar billy Graham, his words not mine. Almost singlehandedly? So Andre had nothing to do with it? WrestleMania doesn't turn into anything with piper, captain lou who was the start of the rock and wrestling connection and so on. He buried people, refused to put people over even when it would have been better and helped the business forward. People need to stop praising him and stop giving him a platform.

I can say I've become numb to the pain all I take is a Flexiril if my muscles Spaz too hard which is once a year but a lot of times I forget I am having spams due to tolerance.

You got to live out your dream and then some. You wrecked yourself and still ended up in a place most other would love to be in. He can say he wishes he ended soon. But if he did he’d be saying “I still had more” and still be in pain. Either way brother. 😂

We went to a wrestling tournament in Winnipeg and I got to see Hulk Hogan. My argument to my Dad was I love weightlifting and I could get rich like these wrestlers lol. He said, " what good is all that money when you living your life out of a wheel chair?" "Bodybuild to stay healthy and in shape. Not to become one of these monkeys. Go into a career that uses your brain. If you take care of your body and health, your brain maybe the only thing left when you get to my age....

*FUN FACT:* Dave Goelz (Gonzo’s puppeteer) has suffered a number of injuries due to the way Muppet performers must hold up their arms for extended periods and contort into small spaces. These include four shoulder surgeries and a hip replacement. That just goes to show that any job where you’re not sitting still, deserves the utmost respect. Never underestimate a man who plays with puppets, because in that profession, you’re putting in just as much blood, sweat and tears as a wrestler or boxer. Therefore, the men on Jim Henson’s payroll are just as masculine as Hulk Hogan and Muhammad Ali.
