Glad you posted this. A year or so, I picked up a B6100 (gear drive) used, similar scenario to the 7100 you have. It has a dozer blade with hydraulic angle...cylinder seals are worn out. The seller had about (8) Stihl chainsaws and I imagine was pretty good with those, but didn't know too much about the Kubota machine. On a forum, somebody said these are great tractors and can do anything a newer machine can do. Hope all goes well on your journey to refurbish the 7100, and maybe we can compare notes.
I have a Kubota b4200. Very similar tractor ... I can't wrap my head around where to tap into the hydraulics in order to attach a front loader... Is there a threaded plug somewhere that I'm over looking? I understand that the hitch and trans uses the same oil, etc. But I'm not understanding how u can hook a loader to it and not have an actual reservoir
@@DolittleMccoy on the transmission right under the seat. Is the hydraulic fluid dipstick. To the left of it is a riser where the hydraulic hose that feeds the bucket connects. It has a quick release. My FB and IG links are on my info if you want me to send pics/video.
