My STR 300 still on the original battery from 2004. Been in a drawer a long time as the strap broke and hence not used but still going strong! Ordered a genuine strap and will start to wear again and see how much longer I can get out of the battery.
Why the light didnt work??
Right now I can pick up a similar model for $22 which is great. I like that it stores a lot of lap data (compared to f91 which can only record two laps as far as i know) but it does seem confusing 🤔

Can you let me know if this watch has an option (by press and hold specific button) to toggle on/off the beep sound when we navigate the different modes like timekeeping, alarm, timer etc. ?

Hey man how do you set the time?
It tends to be via a long press on the 'Adjust' button at the top left hand side of the watch. Unfortunately I do not have that watch any more as I passed it on to a family member but I have linked to the instructions for the Casio STR-300C below.
