Quando ci incontrammo, io e Rita, capimmo subito che oltre a voler stare insieme avremmo voluto farlo nella terra per la quale lei aveva studiato ed io per imparare la lingua che avrebbe potuto servire nei miei futuri lavori ed anche per la musica che tanto amavamo.
Partimmo così alla volta dell’Inghilterra... dove facemmo molti lavori sia inizialmente nel commercio che in seguito in ditte per le quali utilizzare i nostri studi ed esperienze ovvero progettista io e consulente linguistica/commerciale Rita...
Nel mezzo di qualche viaggio decidemmo anche di sposarci... e così fu che la nostra vita rimase influenzata per sempre...
Attraversammo la Manica e tutto ebbe inizio al Kensington Market dove trovammo lavoro grazie al nostro amico Sandro... a Luca e Dario... a David e Vivy... che ringraziamo e ricordiamo sempre...
Il Kensington era situato all’inizio di Kensington High Street, al N.49, in un edificio completamente al chiuso. Esso era il Market di tre piani più famoso del momento, punto di incontro di turisti, hippies e rockstars, provenienti da ogni parte del mondo, per fare compere, ascoltare musica e fare amicizie.
In quegli anni in cui impazzavano i Pink Floyd e i Black Sabbath c’erano anche i Queen e Freddie Mercury e Roger Taylor avevano anche loro uno stall al Kensington Market...
Furono mesi meravigliosi. I giorni si susseguivano tra musica, amici in allegria e spensieratezza... via via che l’estate finiva e si avvicinava l’autunno.
La mattina lasciavamo il nostro flat, attraversavamo i Kensington Gardens ancora immersi nella bruma mattutina, ed arrivavamo al Kensington Market, dove ognuno apriva

Più tardi abbiamo trovato lavori io in una società di imbottigliamento automatico dove fuit trattato benissimo e ancora oggi Ricordo Ernest, Mike, David e altri sempre con grande riconoscenza e simpatia per i mesi passati insieme e nei quali imparai molte cose. Rita trovo lavoro nelle filiale inglese di una famosa acciaieria italiana...
... Abbiamo lavorato tutto il tempo... ... Abbiamo rischiato “partendo all’avventura”... ... Abbiamo vissuto un’epoca... ... È Stata una meravigliosa avventura ...
Non c’è meta esotica... ...non c’è luogo per quanto bello... che sia valso questo bellissimo viaggio ... (... durato tre anni...) di vita insieme...

When we met, Rita and I, we immediately understood that in addition to wanting to be together we wanted to do it in the land for which she had studied and I to learn the language that could be useful in my future jobs and also for the music that we loved so much.
So we left for England... where we did many jobs both initially in commerce and later in companies for which to use our studies and experiences, namely I was a designer and Rita was a linguistic/commercial consultant...
In the middle of some trips we also decided to get married... and so it was that our life was influenced forever...
We crossed the Channel and it all began at Kensington Market where we found work thanks to our friend Sandro... to Luca and Dario... to David and Vivy... who we thank and always remember...
The Kensington was located at the beginning of Kensington High Street, at No. 49, in a completely closed building. It was the most famous three-story Market of the time, a meeting point for tourists, hippies and rock stars, coming from all over the world, to shop, listen to music and make friends.
In those years when Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath were all the rage, there were also Queen and Freddie Mercury and Roger Taylor also had a stall at Kensington Market...
They were wonderful months. The days followed one another with music, friends... as summer ended and autumn approached.
In the morning we left our flat, crossed Kensington Gardens still immersed in the morning mist, and arrived at Kensington Market, where everyone opened their stall at 10...
Later we found jobs, I in an automatic bottling company where I was treated very well and even today I remember Ernest, Mike, David and others always with great gratitude and sympathy for the months spent together.
We took risks... We lived an era... a wonderful adventure…
