- We showcase a lot of different attachments on the channel, and often they run (or are optioned with) additional hydraulics that a lot of tractor owners just don't have set up. Nor do they want to pay to have them added. So what can be done? Today we cover the best solutions and attachments for running with just the hydraulics that came on your tractor.

Wind nasty here also now ohio
Chilling in my cabin with the wood fire cracklin watching tractor stuffs. Life is good.
We're having a little wind storm this morning - power has gone out three times now. The last (& shortest) outage, a few minutes ago, started a second after your electrical sound effect in the opening few seconds of this video. The timing was absolutely perfect! Bzzzzz~ Thanks' for the power outage, GWT!! ;)
Haha, love it. Thanks James!
A lot of cool attachments here Courtney. Thanks for putting this video together and showing what is out there.
Thank you Phil!
All great stuff. Was hoping to see am electric top link. Thanks for sharing
I'd like to see that someday too!
Thanks Courtney! Another great one. Thanks for discussing attachments which don't require PTO's and/or 3-pt hitches for us folks that don't have sub-compacts (I have two x739's). Can't wait to see the Dirt Dog equipment!
Very welcome, glad you enjoyed!
@@GoodWorksTractors Is there anything to consider on blade types and number of blades used for rotary tiller , tractor power capacity
WHEN $12000 WORTH OF GARDEN TRACTOR ISNT ENOUGH; GET TWO!
@@johnmf6096 John, Exactly! Actually, the reason that I have two x739's is because I had one that I loved in our NJ home for about 5 years and when we bought our upstate NY retirement home, it really needed a 4 wheel drive machine instead of the 300-series machine that came with the house (we owned both houses for about 3 years). And I was spoiled by 4 wheel steering. Now with two x739's, I'm also set for the winter - one has the 54" rotary brush for the light, nuisance snows (1-3") that occur regularly and the other has the Little Bully loader on it. I also have a big commercial duty Simplicity walk-behind blower for the deep stuff. Oh, yeah, the driveway is paved and >450 ft long so I'll likely use them all each winter and enjoy it with zero shoveling!
@@joeysawdust I joke my man, I have a x748 and a 2025r at our place. My wife doesn't understand, but seeing that you're a man of culture as well, you would..
Kubota dealer installed a Landpride brand 3rd function for a grand when I purchased my L2501HST in June 2021. Purchased a North American Implement single cylinder budget 48” root grapple from a local “mom & pop” implement dealer for $750.00. Literally, the best two purchases I’ve ever made. I’ve cleared 3 acres this fall, the NAI is a beast. Moved up from a MF GC1705 with a non-QA bucket. Was looking at converting it to skid steer & adding a 3rd function. Sold it for a decent price & bought the Kubota.
like the kubota wich kubotas has a skid steer or ALO euro loader quick attach wich there great
jdubski NC thats not bad $750.00 same price like at my dealer here in canada
Everyday I get back from my dad's I always come to you or tractor time with Tim and I always wish I can have a tractor one day and it makes me happy keep it up
Awesome, glad you enjoy!
Yes! I just poured my coffee and sat by the wood stove for this!
Haha, good morning. Have a great weekend!
neat to show so many options. I had no idea there were so many
Yeah, pretty cool. I know of a couple others that are coming along sometime soon too
Another excellent video. Thanks for the info and explanations on how to get more out of a tractor.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for sharing those products!
The hydraulic diverter kit takes a little more than an hour or two for a first time installer to install. Courtney has a video of his install, and he installed it wrong, which to his credit he admits. Having said that it’s definitely a do it yourself job with some basic tools and some time and patience. And in the end it works very well and is a great upgrade. If I were doing it again I’d buy the diverter without the hoses. The kit includes hoses that are obviously one size fits all, which means way too long for a 1025R. I ended up replacing several with made to order hoses and now the kit hoses are hanging on thw wall collecting dust.
Hoses for the 1025r are made for the 1025r. There are universal kits as well, not sure what one you got. I am not a mechanic and it was 1-2 hours to install. Filming always slows things down greatly.
I lucked out on my summit deverter and grappler. I bought off a person for 900.00. I had to add fittings and hoses. That was about 400.00 to 500.00 to get working. Running hoses to rear is about 300.00 more when I get done.
Heck of a deal!
Thanks for posting this! You answered a whole bunch of questions I had! Great video!!
Happy to help!
I am giving you a thumbs up because I love your videos, but if I keep seeing stuff like this, I will quickly put myself into the poor-house, followed quickly by the dog-house!
So many toys!!!!😃
Haha, my bad Tim!
Great video as always. Timely and and very informative. Have a great day guys and be safe. Tim
Thanks Tim :)
I am strongly looking at that Work Saver grapple. I like the Westendrf grapple too. That is made here in Iowa, I believe.
Very informative, as always! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Great video, gives us a lot of choices. 👍
Thanks for watching Rick!
Thank you, lots of great information.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I have the hydraulic diverter kit on 3 of my loader tractors. 2 came factory fitted with them and they are used to run the third service for a 4 in 1 bucket and a round bale grab. The other runs a hydraulic SMS/euro/global quick hitch on the loader on my 4066r, the dealer had fun trying to get electrical side setup. You use a standard skid steer quick hitch button to unlock and lock it via the factory Deere valve. I got it setup so the quick hitch button activates the diverter as well as the 3rd fun valve. Really handy if you don't want to get off your bum.
I like the sound of that!
Stay safe as well and Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas David!
Use my GWT purchased elec grapple every day....works great...for what I use it for....rocks and logs.....bought additional harness for second tractor....thanks GWT👨🌾👨🌾🚜
awesome, glad to hear it MM!
Tractor time with tim has his 1025r set up with rear remotes using the power beyond hook ups for the backhoe that the valve body is clamped to the roll bar
I just wanted to throw this out there. If you get a lot of electrical attachments, you may want to install a battery voltage gauge. You're putting more demand on your electrical system. A gauge may show a problem (like a dying battery or alternator) before complete failure. Also makes it easier to make sure you don't drain the battery too much. More helpful if you have kids using your attachments. 😁
Enjoyed watching
Thanks for the visit!
I always enjoy your content
Some of my small tractors have three point hitchs i learn a lot from you
Good morning. Wondering if that ratcheting upper link is something I can buy stand alone and if it’s available strong enough for a tractor? 🤔
The one off the Dirt Dog UTV frame?
Hey Courtney, when do you plan to have a PTO - 3pt hitch sprayer in your offerings?
Looking for the perfect solution still...have any suggestions?
If you're going new with your tractor order it up front with all the hydraulics you want, it's way cheaper then paying a dealer to add it later on when you decide you want that grapple or anything else that requires hydraulics
I agree, but thousands of used tractors already in the market without the extra hydraulics.
@@GoodWorksTractors oh absolutely I feel a lot of it is also a result that people "didn't buy the right tractor" with those options they wish they had opted for, or too small of machine at first. These admittedly are great options for people, I'm only basically saying if you choose to buy new and have that money to spend spec it out right the first time otherwise as you said dealers are gonna charge 1500 to 2k or more to add hydraulics to the front or rear, and its not gonna be as nice of a fit and finish as if was done in the factory, if you care about that anyway.
This is what i did and i don't regret it, 2 rear remotes and the 3rd function on the loader.. ready to go for any implement
my kubota dealer gets all hydrulics on all kubota when he orders them from factory in japan
Way cool stuff!!
Thanks as always Bob!
What size of trailer do I need to carry a 2038R with loader and the 270B backhoe? Thanks
Weight isn't as much of a concern as length. 16' tandem should do it.
Check brush crusher issues. I have seen quick attached pin pulling and bending during use. It also ruined front attach units. Costing $500 dollars each replacement
Saw the video, looked like it might not have been setup properly, but lots of missing info. Ten's of thousands of Brush Crushers in the field and you're bound to have an issue here or there.
Thanks for your response. I figure you would know more on that unit
it sure would be great to see you review on of the new Bad Boy tractors, if I get one I'm dropping it off to you
Deal!
Hi thanks for the vid.
I would have like to see a line or two about hydraulic pumps driven by the pto for multi functional operations.. For example when u want to use the front end hydraulics at the same time as the backend and not having to stop and wait for the hydraulics to catch up to two functions.
Too often I see a tractor that has to stop at the end of the field when turning around to apply two hydraulic functions.
Electric powered pumps are too slow when you have the whole hp of your tractor at that moment.
Eg my 6100 kubota is a beast for its size. The pump is well sized for its hp rating but when the tractor is in light work it's slow as f.. My pto pumps for Oliver 770 are built for 65 hp and are simply too big. I'm going to engineer my own electric over hydraulic unit with suitable gpm but hey what out there first.
Thanks.
Great video i have a 2032r and want to add a function i will give summit a call thanks have a great day be safe.
Have a great weekend!
Pretty Cool ! 👉👍
Morning sir! Don't get blown away today
@@GoodWorksTractors Good Morning! I think I'm in Canada 'Eh ?? 60 degrees next week. Job security. Good for leaf cleanups.
Does anyone make an electric top link for a JD 1025?
Not that I'm aware of
It’s a Whole New World.
Indeed!
How long before we see an electric tractor? Cheers!
Don't know, but would love to get my hands on one!
My little suburban village doesn't allow these tractors. Any suggestions welcome.
Live free and move.
For sure
I'm working on adding more auxiliary hydraulics to my 6330.I am using a power beyond block to send hydraulic power to another valve block. The power beyond block breaks out the pump, tank, and in my case, loadsense.
Granted, my tractor isn't a compact, but I would imagine the compact tractors would have similarly designed hydraulic systems. If they do, and they don't have load sense pumps, then a power beyond block may be a good option for those who need more than three functions but want a lever per function.
If they do have a load sense pump, then the valve is like 3k. So definitely cost prohibitive. I bought a valve on ebay that I am trying to get to work. 😁
