Being from Michigan, only being able to hunt in specific wma's in Florida was a shocker! Up there(MI) all publicly owned land is open to hunting, so not being that way in Florida was really weird(discovered that several years ago n work assignment down there, Scouting and ng a!)

I get a lot of snickers when I tell hunters - if you're hunting where you can see a long way, you're probably in the wrong spot!

I had a buddy that told me if your not losing hooks your dropping your bait in the wrong spot. Dang I hate retieing hooks but he was right. Same goes for hunting "mature bucks" some just will never step out. The nature of deer will always over ride our thought process. Thanks for the encouragement.........

Being totally honest, getting to your tree at sunrise is hurting you. 30min before 1st light is the minimum and 1hr prior to 1st light is ideal. Even then, you can still be there when they ain't.

Your probably right, been doing that my whole life, but at this point in my life I really don't care, however I do know a feller that only hunts afternoons🌛🌞🌝🌚🤠wonder why🌄

@peterupdikeswildtreasures4055 some people like it, but I prefer mornings. For me, it's sucks way more getting down the tree after dark and getting to camp super late than waking up early and getting up the tree in the dark.
