I don't mind trap, although would welcome Eski beats' return, =). I enjoy the energy from the dance-esque Grime of Eski. Modern Grime feels like the emphasis is on the lyrics, and I want it back over a beat I can dance to, =).
This is why grime died, I love the eski sound don't get me wrong but circa 2008 when grime needed to modernise it's sonics it chose to cling on to its under produced sound grime today still sounds how it did in 2002, hip-hop sounds nothing like it did in the 80's........it slowly modernised and embraced new sounds
what crazy titch says at the end iss soooooo true man. from going from road, leavin it behind coz he da man to do it for all da other mans, respect wiley!
fucking love the old school grimey/garage grime beats and ive only been listening to grime for like two years. Still the tunes coming out now are still good
Same here... That's what made grime fucking great the first ten years. Now some of it is starting to sound like trap or regular American rap. I miss the Grimey beats.
I'm Irish used live in w10 BJ in the day shout out the MOZART MAN DEM. And in my eys WILEY IS THE G.O.A.T And always be GOD BLESS WILEY🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🔥🇮🇪🔥🇮🇪🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
No disrespect taken! This is from years ago. Grime, UK rap, dubstep, house, has come a long way since these days. There's plenty of talent in the UK and UK artists are making a lot of money from music now - back in the day we would buy into USA stuff but now we have our own stuff what we can relate to. Also, if you don't like it - you don't have to watch it....
onyx were a dance group marketed as gangsters, fair play they went hard and had a good first album but grime is grime and like it or not its the most important thing to happen in UK music in the last decade
@rooshio yh some of dem do.wiley went college.Tinchy stryder went east london uni and studied sumfin to do with animation, akala went uni and gt a maths degree.so some of dem do have qualifications
@pacmandem Yes but your gonna notice that it sounds more faster and the instruments are more louder but this one has a lesser quality than the album version watch?v=pOLzVfX82fY

Hopefully Stormzy fans will watch this and learn their history
Mac C They watch this and learn about a whole leap of good MC’s who’s level he isn’t on yet he got the success without their talent.
Stormxy looooool
Stormzy is to grime what vanilla ice is to hip hop
"it's not reaching as far as it should". 14 years later, and there's an album by a grime MC at No.1. Everyone then and now has done BITS
you best not be talking about stormzy
For anyone wondering where this shed was, it was on the site of the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, and transmit off Lund Point tower block
We need Eski beats/Grime back... this whole new trend of trap music is garbage.
I don't mind trap, although would welcome Eski beats' return, =). I enjoy the energy from the dance-esque Grime of Eski. Modern Grime feels like the emphasis is on the lyrics, and I want it back over a beat I can dance to, =).
This and the deep bassy dubstep sound that started over here in the UK. Not the euro EDM dubstep mashup thing that it seems to have become.
It never left ua-cam.com/play/PL3HAEVgGJAgrlEJ3j2RuJqxFm8y6y2f37.html
Yeah but u dont gotta hate like an old head
