The building was a metaphor. Danai explained in interviews why she wrote the script in the crumbling building. It represents what they were going through. And once the relationship was fixed the building/ all of Rick's apprehension and turmoil fell to dust. This episode was supposed to get them back on track.

The stairwell was full of walkers and partially blocked. That was where the chandelier fell. That is probably why they took the elevator.

The building they were staying in after they came together again was another wing that at that point wasn't affected by the helicopter attack. But also, Michonne was using that to pressure Rick to hurry up and make a decision, forcing his hand to listen. Basically just creating more tension on top of tension. But yeah the acting in this episode was top tier but Andrew and Danai are power houses. Also Roombas have been available since 2002, a good ways before TWD premiered in 2010 (but I can't speak to whether the model is correct for the era.)

This show is better than Daryl Dixon & Dead City. Also Danai Gurira (Michonne) is also written this episode 👏🏿.

Mom is EVERYTHING. I envy you ladies in the best way. I would have loved to do something like this with my mother...

The buildings were reminiscent sadly of fhe 9/11 Twin Towers. The first building collapsed immediately. The second Tower lasted 2 hours. So in these episode the timing of the collapse is believeable. But the building was a metaphor for Rick' mental state. And what it took for Michonne to get his walls to crumble.

I think the stick shift comment is due to Rick only having one viable hand, and he wouldnt be able to grip the steering wheel with his metal fist. That's what I assume!

You're correct. He was shown driving a stick shift in twd so he can drive one, just couldn't with the missing hand

I highly recommend reacting to the Saban's Power Rangers Movie from 2017. staring Dacre Montgomery who played Billy in stranger things, Naomi Scott who played Jasmine in the live-action Aladdin movie, Bryan Cranston who played Walter White in Breaking Bad, and Elisabeth Banks who played Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games.
