Orchestral arrangement of the Battle Theme from Final Fantasy VII. From my album "Sending a Dream into the Universe". Still, by far, my favorite battle theme from any game in the series.

*FINALLY* a good arrangement of Those Who Fight! I can't tell you how long I've wanted an arrangement like this to be made.
Especially an orchestrated version like this too.
Very well done. Best version of this ive heard, though i want those trumpets/trumbones or whatever they are booming at 2:10 . I fucking love this game, having heard this song in almost every battle across multiple saves over 2 decades 60% of my life, and i still love listen to this! I honestly thing playing these games has made me love classical music, so much emotion in the music that went with the story so well.

One of the best renditions of this track I've ever heard. That background gun shot sound at 0:13 is something a lot of people forget when making a cover and it bothers me.
My only disappointment is you never did a cover of Tifa's theme. You seem like someone who could really do justice to the version of it that I always hoped would exist someday. Otherwise this album is the best cover of the original OST I've ever come across. This is music that'd be worthy of the remake.
+Chip Noir Tifa's Theme will be included in volume 2, taking care of the songs I didn't get around to on this album. I hope to give that particular theme a worthy orchestration.

Otherwise verry solid composition!
That and there should have been a bit more emphasis on the percussion section. This is the main fight theme, so it should be more aggressive.
My god that key/tonal change at around 2:17 is amazing, great job on this!
They should get you to remaster the VII Soundtrack for the remake.
+RAB I wouldn't complain, though I'm not sure if my nerves could handle it. Whoever gets the job has a looot of expectations to live up to :)

I think they should just let Uematsu conduct The London Philharmonic Orchestra 4 that
Stop giving this guys false hopes. Good orchestration, but miles away from Nobuo Uematsus standard. Listen to is master piece, the Advent Children soundtrack.
Overrall I like Hultgrens works, but it has bad drums/percussio, and too flat production.
Awesome mix. The percussion could have been stronger, I think, but I positively adored the brass from the 1:00 mark on.
My only other comment, and I say this about every mix of this theme, is that no one ever seems to quite capture that almost metallic crash of machinery in the background that makes me think of Midgar and Shinra so strongly. I can kind of hear it here, especially towards the end, and major kudos for that, but for some reason that atmospheric sound always seems to be missing when I hear mixes of this theme.
Maybe it's just me...?
Outstanding job! I can't say enough how grateful I am that you did this. The songs you selected for your compilation have mostly not been done by Square in any good way, and you really gave life to songs that get overlooked.

+Renolidor Yeah, that was the whole idea - There were so many other songs from the soundtrack that I wanted to hear in an orchestral format. Like, One Winged Angel is really iconic and cool, but it's so over used now. I really don't get why so many of the songs are being overlooked in live performances. Well, I'm glad you like the album, and again I'm thankful for the support! I'm currently working on something around Final Fantasy 5, which I hope to finish before Christmas. Shamefully, I have still not played Secret of Mana, so I'm not totally familiar with the soundtrack. I'll hopefully get to it eventually :)
Haven't played FF5, but I look forward to the release nonetheless. And I would highly recommend Secret of Mana when you get the chance; I think you could do the soundtrack great justice. Cheers!

i know it sounds silly to ask or suggest/hint at a track of final fantasy history of which is rather undervalued as a brilliant piece, the dragon spreads its wings from final fantasy 5, literally not that much of remixes around on that, also i would like to also suggest clash on the big bridge, just cuz, why not?

Can you imagine if one of the new marvel movies had a battle theme as epic as this. It would easily win movie score of the year. Composers are so lazy now a days.

I hate to tell you this, but if you stab a piano like that those middle keys aren't going to work anymore.... but nice picture.
First 8 Seconds is Glitchy. Stutter and Volume Shifts. Otherwise Great Arrangement.
+aarondarksoul im not sure what you're talking about there, the song sounds exactly like how it would in the game. Or is it that miraculously you never heard of this theme before and misunderstood it?
This feels like a sketch. It needs better mixing and dynamics adjustments.
