Charles Nelson Reilly was the best panelist on this show. He was such a funny guy and never had a big mouth or craved too much attention. He would just smoke his pipe and make low key jokes about things. I was sad when he died some years ago.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Never craved too much attention, huh? (he was WORSE than Brett. . . ESPECIALLY for hogging the camera) Also, I know it's goody two shows Charles, so I know you and others won't admit it, but if you've TRULY watched every one of these episodes, then you'd have no CHOICE but to agree with me on that! By the way, Charles cheats alot, you know that right? (I've never actually seen him, but are many on here who have)
This episode was taped on 14 January 1982. Over your HEAD ($500 match) BUTTERMILK pancakes (DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING!) Some things just don't make sense like playing a Rolling Stones song on a TUBA. (Bzzt!, plus contestant) This restaurant is really sleazy. I ordered a bottle of wine, and instead of serving it in a silver bucket, they served it in a BROWN PAPER BAG. (2 or 3 matches) It's tough being married to a fireman. The only way I can get him interested in romance is if I keep a HOSE in our bed. (1 match) I don't get much exercise anymore. I haven't even GOT OUT OF BED since 1949. (1 match) I told you SO. ($500 match) Higher and HIGHER (DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING!)
It is my sad duty to report Alex Trebek, which has hosted many game shows for nearly 5 decades, most notably for the last 37 years Jeopardy! Who is a Guinness World Record holder for a single host hosting the most episodes on one show with more than 8000 episodes surpassing the great icon Bob Barker, who fought valiantly through his stage 4 pancreatic cancer for 18 months, succumbed to the disease today peacefully at his home at the age of 80. We lost another great gameshow host and icon just a few weeks after Tom Kennedy passed away. This has been a horrid 2020 that continues to be horrid 2020 for the game show world. You will be tremendously missed Mr. Jeopardy, rest in heaven Alex. In terms of who is replacing him on Jeopardy! Since the season just started, the production has not named any as of yet, although its suspected Ken Jennings will but even Ken will agree, no one can replace this icon. Alex's last date on the show recording was Oct. 29th. Jeopardy! Executive producer Mike Richards, stated the last airdate of his tapings is slated for Christmas Day and according to him the show will air his final 35 shows leading to the Christmas Day finale appearance. Again no replacements have been named yet but many suspect Ken will take over possibly.😭😭😭❤
@@cindeed4422 He could true but in turn Dan is a sports person specifically which was why he was able to do that show well, I don't think he himself would include himself as a potential replacement given the fact I doubt Dan would want to go on a bigger taping schedule and he himself isnt young either also given he does his sports show daily.
@@cindeed4422 im sure Dan loved being apart of it, again it is a possibility because Dan does have the familiarity of the show, so it wouldn't be a difficult transition versus say anyone else hosting even Ken would be at a disadvantage but Ken from what I have heard has been prepping also, plus him being a consultant to the show already gave some hints to him being a front-runner, so we will have to wait and see exactly what transpires over the next month. Either way those would be probably your 2 candidates to host. Dan, which he already has experience with the show, and Ken who is a consultant and the 74 time champ. What i wish could have happened if Betty was say 20 or 30 years younger and Alex already joked he wanted her to succeed him. Would have been awesome to see Betty do this show for a few years given her popularity and her personality. Alex did mention if he had the clout to choose his replacement he would like to see a woman host, so there are female potentials to consider also in the coming months if the production hears out Alex's request.
Jeopardy is Trebek and whoever replaced him, will never be the same or as good. Wouldn't mind Will Ferrell host a few times since he did well on SNL as Alex.

I see Cousin (a TOTAL stranger) has gotten to you too lol. Charles is worse for craving attention, and if you've TRULY watched every episode of this show, you'd have no CHOICE but to agree with on that (but I won't hold my breath for that lol) O and by the way, if you've actually been reading the comments on these episodes, you'd have to acknowledge that most people on here liked Brett 😁(and that's not an opinion either; that's a FACT. You might know that if you've read the comments.

Sweet win for Brett and her fellow Maine-iac. She knew a minister would totally say "higher & higher" rather than "higher & lower"

Charles has always been my favorite! :)
BRETT'S 74TH HEAD-TO-HEAD
And the old hag still somehow makes everyone want to 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮!
WAY TO GO BRETT!!!!!

Dan Patrick would be a great replacement as he hosted Sports Jeopardy on Crackle.

Good points@Julio. I just thought he would make a good replacement as he’s so personable and he loved doing the show.

FIRE was the best answer.
haven't clipped my toe nails since 1949.
The show was really showing its age toward the end..

I went another direction: Playing a Rolling Stones song on a Country music station!

McLean is so much more tolerable when he has a cold.
lol
BUTTERED
Some things just don't make sense. Like playing a Rolling Stones song on an air guitar
My ex did play the Stones on accordian. A lot I can fault the man - way too much - but not that or his cooking.
Of course you had no faults at all!
@@Bing_Bong60 Who the f*ck said that, you we!rd0.
Are all the MG syndicated shows viewable? In other words, did GSN skip any weeks or individual episodes?
Brett and her usual annoying late appearances. Always craving attention.
