Correct me if I'm wrong - the arduino Tx signal is a TTL signal at 5V for HI and 0 for LO. If the 5V is connected directly to the ESP8266 Rx pin without stepping it down to 3.3V, wouldn't that potentially damage the ESP8266 chip? I have seen a few other schematics wherein 3 220 Ohm resistors are used to provide a tap-off point for 3.3V from the 5V signal.
Tried the example program for wifi broadcast...it works fine. Retried this reloaded arduino uno and the ssid that came up was from the example. Am i missing something here?

Is there a reason you did not use resistors in the breadboard when connecting LEDs? PIN 12 and 13 to the LEDs, and then to Ground. Is the current already limited in the ATMEGA328?

This one is fluid! After drowning in countless videos, I finally did it. Thanks.
what software did you use on the pc to model this project
THANKS!!! SUPERB... I can't use esp8266 for two weeks...finally it works..
First class video, third-class music👌
Absolutely right.....
😂
that remoteXY library is exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you
You should use a voltage divider from Arduino TX and ESP RX because ESP is 3.3V and arduino 5V. You can make it with a single pair of resistors.
Nuno Figueiredo can u please tell how exactly to do it!!
@@josiavarghese I used a 4.7 kohms and a 10 kohms resistor to create a voltage divider circuit

Edit: now it does. Had to use a voltage divider at from Arduino's TX to ESP RX to reduce voltage to 3.3
I too can’t able to see it in network.. pls help

Some many people raise this question on the internet, I am also asking the same. But nobody ever addresses this question
@@VinyJones2 broke mine... remember to use voltage divider !
Yeh, I didn't use resistor diviser to step down, actually I also use MOSFET to step up the tension the other way as 3v is closed to haft 5v
Best tutorial Esp8266 in the UA-cam. Thank's for you video man!
Music is great and all but when it comes to Eng. Projects, I prefer someone talking through and explaining stuff.
Need some resistors on those LEDs!!!! Otherwise this was very helpful.
what is the name this stimulation software you used
Fritzing (open source)
P.S.: It doesn't simulate Circuits.

hi iam using arduino uno with e-health shield ,can i use esp8266 to send data to my firebase with wifi ?

Thanks a lot for the tutorial. I love remotexy part. It simplifies out the work.

I was fed up with trying blynk software, Remote XY is very useful & easy software 🔥, Thanks man, keep going 💪

its just necessary for power bro, youre right
what software for drawing?
It doesn't work today. When #include ; is added to an empty sketch, "Error compiling for board", even though remoteXY is installed.
The ESP 01 is a 3.3v module, connecting it to Arduino's 5v TxD is not good for it
Do you know a way to step down the voltage or some other solution?
Use voltage divider

What code should I upload to esp? We should have two code. One for arduino and one for esp but remotexy give us just one code.I am confused 😕.
Is this works on DT 06 WiFi module?
"after upload code to arduino connect TX and RX...", I saw you had already connected TX and RX before uploading, hadn't you?
he means us to connect the tx and rx to the arduino after we upload the code
YES he had removed the TX and RX pins when uploading the code arduino as arduino uses TX and RX pins to upload code to its main chip. Thats why he removed it and reconnected them after uploading the code.
