    You should use a voltage divider from Arduino TX and ESP RX because ESP is 3.3V and arduino 5V. You can make it with a single pair of resistors.

    Correct me if I'm wrong - the arduino Tx signal is a TTL signal at 5V for HI and 0 for LO. If the 5V is connected directly to the ESP8266 Rx pin without stepping it down to 3.3V, wouldn't that potentially damage the ESP8266 chip? I have seen a few other schematics wherein 3 220 Ohm resistors are used to provide a tap-off point for 3.3V from the 5V signal.

      @steveivanka 4 роки тому

      @@saimohit8833 hi mate, try to follow me if you still don't get it,
      remove rx, tx and upload the code to the arduino
      and once you done, enter the two wires back,
      cool, ok after that you download the file thats being given by the code (don't forget or ignore it if so it will not work)
      and please save your arduino code in that same file, please.
      now you connect it to your phone, How?, well first you go to wifi search and search the wifi name given by you, else you could find it via the code as well, as ID, it will ask the password, then you give it. thats to there in the code. Once all done press that plus signed, select the wifi tag connect it. there you go.
