Where do we start... having fun at the vise and experimenting with new tying techniques is all part of the fun. Sometimes, it's about thinking outside the box and incorporating successful techniques from other forms of fishing into your patterns. For this tie we took the concept of side drifting salmon eggs and put it on the vise! This is still a work in progress pattern but we know this till get some attention in the water!

How long is the line to the hook? And about what length of mohair are you using?
its a uni mohair that comes on a core its not crazy long maybe 1/2 inch and im still working out the hook placement!
@@SpawnFlyFishI was talking about the length that you use to tie the egg on with. Looks to be several inches long.
@@SpawnFlyFishI was thinking about using this ice fishing on a lake that has bows in the 10lb range. So just hanging on an indicator. Wasn’t sure how long the hook should be away from the egg sac and still be eaten. Will just have to play.
Use Lured “incognito “ beads for the soft feel and the durability of a hard bead.
