I'm a beginner and about to try to start shooting music videos and editing. Do you have any advice for a beginners camera on a budget with good quality?
Is adobe premier better than Davinci Resolve 18 and what is the difference between them because am still stuck with editing on Resolve.. i'd also like to know if you could add music from apps like epicsounds to your youtube videos..
I've been using Premiere Pro professionally for about 5 years and the number one tip I can give is USE THOSE LEFT AND RIGHT ARROW KEYS!!! Editing is about being precise and making things look natural based on the context of the video. The arrow keys supremely help with getting levels of detail that separate pros and novices. This seems like a no-brainer tip but it's still a good one in my opinion.
THANK YOU so much for this comment. I was really struggling with how to precisely cut a millisecond from my video and was so close to giving up then I came across your comment. Not a no-brainer for me 🙈
Okay, I'm gonna be honest and proudly say: in my opinion, this is the BEST trainer on UA-cam... and trust me, I've watched zillions of tutorials in many, many fields (Graphic Design, Audio, Ecom, Photography, etc.). No fluff, no unnecessary talk, SUPER straight to the point. Liked and subscribed, of course, and thank you SO MUCH, Justin, for saving me so much time, and keeping me engaged from the very beginning till the end!
This is the best intro video ever. Very organized. I knew absolutely nothing about this software, but spent all day watching & taking notes. Now I feel like I understand how to get started. Seriously, you have a gift for teaching that not many have.. and I say this after watching dozens of videos that really frustrated me. Thank you very much. I so wish you taught coding/programming, haha.

And you did that without stuffing it full of desperate appeals for likes or follows. To everyone on UA-cam and social media - this is how you GET likes and follows! THANK YOU! This is perfect - everything you need to know, and nothing you don't, as a complete beginner. Thanks to this brilliant video plus one from Vince Opra about captions, I went from being completely bewildered to making good video edits with captions in a few hours. The only thing I got stuck on was when I managed to accidentally change the cursor from the selection tool to the razor tool and then couldn't grab anything on the timeline, and it took me a while before I realised I just needed to click on the selection tool again. Thank you for makin a proper tutorial. I can't tell you how many tutorials are horrible yet people praise them in the comments. Most tutorials just narrate their work process instead of defining it like you do. The only thing I will say is that you didn't define what a layer is. It might seem intuitive to people who have worked with the adobe suite or modeling programs, but in reality it's not intuitive at all. The concept of layers is based on placing different elements that bring a whole together. In video it refers to sound and image, where the sound beneath the image brings sound to the video. There is also effects and even superimposing one image on top of another image. The concept of layers is perhaps even better understood as a kind of collage where different planes/elements are positioned one on top of the other to generate a complete finished image or video in 2 dimensions (for Graphic Design and most Videos) and 3 dimensions with Virtual Reality videos. As obvious as that may be, I think it would be good to define it first. It would make your tutorial even more perfect. Thank you for your work.

HELLO JUSTIN! Seems that you are the only UA-camr that actually Replies to your Subscribers so let me post a Question to you! 'Prior to installing Adobe Premiere 2022 back in August, I was previously using Adobe Premiere Pro1.5 on my newly built PC! Now I have an internal 256gb SSD Card along with swapping out my old 200gb HHD's with 1tb SSD's! I am constantly running desperately low in space in my C Drive (Win 10 OS & Programs x86 only on a separate partition, no Video files!) and wanted to know besides all of the Clearing media Cache Procedures should I uninstall the older Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 from 20 years ago?
@@PrimalVideo HEY JUSTIN! UPDATE! After uninstalling my beloved Adobe Premier Pro 1.5, (which indeed also works on a 64bit system, (my older Premier 6.0 only worked on my Virtual XP system) I used Adobe Premier 2022 Media Cache deletions along with all the Win 10 manual deletion methoids and gained only a few Gb's! Then I realized that I still had about a dozen finished Projects in an Auto-Save Folder and once I deleted those I regained half of my SSD space back!! What is your opinion of using my external SSD in my General and Scratch Disks space versus my SSD C?

If you’re not using that version any more then you can remove it to save space.

HEY JUSTIN!
What computer do you use to run premier pro & please be specifiic
