I've watched a lot of Premiere Pro beginner tutorials, but yours was the only one that made sense to me. You didn't overwhelm me with info that I do not need when just starting out. You are a great teacher- keep up the good work!

So I finally made the move to Premiere Pro, and I watching this video probably 10 times. Just published my first video using all of your techniques and once I figured out the workflow....my gawd why did I wait so long to start using this program. THANK YOU so much for making this, and for those of you on the fence here is my suggestion. Watch the entire video first. Don't take notes, just watch it. Then watch it with PP up and flip back and forth using a sample video to play around with. It comes pretty easy, took me about a day or two and I had the basics down. Great video, very informative, looking forward to increasing my abilities and thanks so much for this once again.
Thank you for this video. Most others feel the need to add goofball/ " funny" clips of themselves and so much lightning fast editing-choppiness on their OWN videos that I can't stomach. You are calm-cool-collected with barely ANY editing of your tutorials. Please don't change.
I LOVE THIS!!! I've been fumbling my way around Pr for a few months. This brings it all together from initial organization of your content files to setting up Pr to templates for audio, color correction, etc. I can't thank you enough.
I don’t know if on purpose but I appreciate you leaving in the mistakes of export the video between 45:45 min to 46min mark. Seriously dope tips and thank you for doing this!

I called the sound preset "Omars sound". I have a graphic design degree but worked in web so I havent done video since 2000! I loved it at the time and was offered a job at ESPN. (I live in Connecticut right near the office) BUT they said it would be years before I was able to do real video, SO I took a web design job- no regrets. Anyway, switched to nursing in 2006 and now switching to content creative. I appreciated Think Media , as I begin with my garden channel AND my husband's tutoring channel.
this is the best tutorial i've seen for beginners! thanks man for making me feel confident to start editing after being overwhelmed by Premier for so long
I learned to edit on Avid and then Pr back in 2007.... this just brought me up to speed with how things have changed since. Thank you so much for this tutorial!!!
Thanx so much for your video I definetely will use your tips in the beginning to enhance my editing. After watching several hours of beginnner tutorials, edited a video on PES soccer season shot earlier in the summer 2023 with added screenshot animation and shared the video with my loveones on social media I now know how to improve my workload. Time to open Premiere Pro and start using your tips. Thanx so much you're a true pro. Cheers.
First and foremost I want to say thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. As a professional photographer. I'm well-versed with Lightroom and photoshop. For videos I have been using filmora for the last 3 years. Always wanting to take the time to learn premiere. I just wanted to say after 20 minutes and I'm watching your videos after already understanding the concept of video editing. I wanted to learn a faster way to edit with Premiere and we kind of have the same setup only I was using filmora. My thing is that I can't figure out how to zoom in and out on a timeline real fast especially to cut the mistakes out. At around 19 minutes and on your video you zoom in and out of the timeline thus showing the audio which helps to make the cut precise. The only thing is you didn't tell us how to zoom in and out you just told us how to do a cut. Unfortunately, the main reason I was watching this video was to learn how to zoom in and out really quickly. Is there any way that you could just tell me real fast?
Thank you sooo much for all you do, first time commenting but been following you guys for a looong time . I am learning how to edit at 66 years old but 66 is only a number.
LOVE THIS! seriously, Thank you for this video. It took a HUGE amount of anxiety away on learning this platform. I'm so pumped to begin editing in Premiere now
Great vid. From an audio perspective, I'm not sure why you add a vocal enhancer on the parametric EQ (which pulls up the high bands) and then added the graphic EQ just to pull the high bands back down. Useful tools for sure, but seems like the way you used them are just cancelling each other out?
I would advise against the correction LUT when you export because it's only in your Mac that you see the video washed out (I've done some research and watched a few videos on the topic) On other devices people see your video as they are... One day Adobe will fix this issue and your video (with the fix) will look darker than what you meant.
Made a talking head video. Came back to re-learn, utilize and save Audio Juice. The Shure MV7 and its settings combined with Audio Juice allow me to have incredible sound quality. Thank you again for this video.
Thank you! This is going to help me in my current position having to pivot out of print design to video editing! I was so lost before I found this video!
Many thanks for this! As a true beginner in PP, I greatly appreciate your more leisurely pacing and patient explanations that allows me to actually follow what you're doing and why.
These videos are so valuable to people learning how to edit. I wish everyone who uses this video would hit the like button. There should be just as many thumbs up as there are views.
AWESOME tutorial. I only have one question. You said you were going to have the files listed in "chronological" but then chose to list by NAME. Isn't that ALPHABETICAL order? Or does Premier use "name" differently?
This is some great info and I really appreciate the tips. I have been using this software for 2 years now and some of the basics you shared I never knew and I know it will save me tons of time. Thanks my friend!!
Awesome awesome video 😍 I really appreciate all of the hard work you put into this video and I can be happy now to save it when I need it to edit video's in the future. Thank you so much for the video Omar It's super helpful and greatly demonstrated and edited 😊
This tutorial is really amazing to get me started, Thanks. But can you point me to a video or other source that gives tips for adding in shapes like arrows, circles, highlights, & other mark-ups? I’m trying to move away from Camtasia for my lecture videos. Thanks again, this is wonderful!!
Hello Omar, thank you so much for guiding and teaching us beginners on how to edit videos. I have now clarity and workflow on how I'm going to move forward editing my videos for my UA-cam channel. Time to implement. I really appreciate all that you do! Peace.
Holy Smokes Omar, I find so much inspiration in everything you do! Not only is the content amazing but, I can observe how you have put together this video and am using it as a target goal for my videos, incredibly my son!!!
Omar, this is an excellent tutorial. Please keep these up on UA-cam and please make more, they are handy. I have never used Adobe Premiere Pro before and I learned a lot from this. Thank you Omar.
I appreciate the effort you put in to your work The next time I ask for something big like this I know who I'm calling. You need to be proud of yourself. Your performance has been outstanding. Your keyboard shortcut tips have made a huge time saving for me! I never even used the triple trim edit to playhead before
Just enough information to educate, not enough to overwhelm. Presented well - nicely done! 💯
