A true example of an amazing band at the pinnacle of their career.
I am in tears right now, I remmber being at this concert, was very much in love with Goeff Tate the man is beautiful. this band is isncreadible all around, just a materpices of a song, every song they do is a masterpiece. I miss those days.. xoxo
He was. They were spectacular!!
Luckyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
These guys were the most underrrated band in the 80's. It is a cruel world this rock'n'roll business!!!! Simple awesome lyrucs of Geoff Tate!!!!!
Putting Metallica and Queensryche together was brilliant. It brought in people of different metal genres and exposed them to two different styles of great music. At the time Queensryche was not one of these glam bands with facial talent. These guys have real musical talent.
Progressive metal. Seen them warm metallica twice on that tour. Next yr they headlined with Empire.
GET ALL OF THEM!! This is without a doubt one of the most talented bands ever.
My favourite band
This song is pure poetry
Nobody is close
These guys set the bar .....
man has a set of pipes thats for sure.
What an AMAZING performance. Exceptional vocals by Mr. Tate, excellent rhythm section, excellent guitars. Queensryche at its finest. Can't help but watching it over and over and over again. Thanks for this SUPERB upload!
LOVE this song. "Roads To Madness" from The Warning is probably my favorite QR song ever now. It's one of those songs that you enjoy more and more each time you hear it cause something else badass catches your attention.
Geoff still the original 👌
One of my favorite songs, all because of that solo. One of my favorite solos by QR. I love the way it sounds on this version.
The first 5 albums and Live Evolution. I swear its all that you need.
Stilll and always...the most hauntingly beautiful voice in all of rock...period.
No words for Geoff's voice...awesome? Moooore....
So loved them. Tate’s voice gives me chills to this day. So glad I got to see them live back in the day!!!
Geoff has the most exquisite voice….
@@nickjackson6604 it’s unreal!!
@@anneross1859 just ordered a 1991 DAT concert from Cincinnati - Geoff in his prime!
@@nickjackson6604 that’s cool, where did you order that from?
@@anneross1859 disc Japan
saw em at the Forum (now Staples Center) in LA during the Mindcrime tour....neener, neener, boo booooo.....hahahaha. they played for like 3 hours...covered everything...and were possibly the best sounding band I've ever seen live...amazing professionals. Type O Negative opened for them....and yes all the goth chics in the crowd were hot.
It's sad what happened to Tate. Dude was immensely talented. Easily my favorite voice of all time.
Chris DeGarmo was one badass mofo. One of my favorite gutarists. I didnt like how queensryche sounded without him
Remember seeing this show in Birmingham UK, f****** awesome!
get Mindcrime first (without a doubt their finest album) Empire, and definatley Rage for order!
I never get tierd of hearing this song CLASSIC
I remember when i bought this E-P album in the 80,s wooo ya!~
The first 5 Queensryche albums are the best.
Awesome sound quality...one of the best voices...great job
BEAUTIFUL SONG. THANKS !
@Flaggius AND RAGE FOR ORDER! AND THE EP! actually all up to Hear In the now frontier
one of the best moment in metal history...
'85 in Tokyo, Geoff Tate cried with funk! & band ..
Man o man, remember when Tate could sing this stuff. Now he changes it all up to avoid the high notes hoping we might not notice. I saw them when they released Empire, This guy could sing every damn note....it sounded perfect.
Excelente Agrupación J.G
He is about 60 years of age... it's understandable!
Wish I could have seen them live back in the day!
Wow, this is awesome!
Tate was a hell of alot better then Freddy mercury. Tjankyou😀
goeff tate best vocalist ever!!!
one of best HM of 80 and 90 s...pls..listen how Tate sings...one of best live bands..that ever existed ..maybe dream theater sounds better live..
@Flaggius warning is the best with self , in other words the 1st 3 were the best and still are. glad u posted all there music is better than what we hear on todays radio. ryke it up
Excellent Song
queensryche coming to my area march 5th :)
Tate's QR is the real thing, not the other coverband trying to sound like they did in the 80's.
@wallyworldfromcanada
They are far from underrated! They are one of the most well known metal bands! :)
SIMPLEMENTE INCREIBLE.....
I need this full concert... please
DeGarmarmo, Tate & Rockenfield or bust!
EPIC!!!
Exelente essa e a verdadeira voz do quensch muito bom acho que o hellowin se inspirou nesse conj

YEP THE REAL RYKE TODAY JUST A COVER LIKE I WAS
@wallyworldfromcanada Wow. Booed?? I saw QR open for Metallica on the Justice tour and they played an encore! Huge Arco Arena crowd. It kicked ass!
dude...im speechless,or typless
i cant type anyway
@Xeper1979 Heh, yeah, this very tour as I recall. Had a fried (Suicidal Tendancies fan) who was predicting disaster at the concert because of it. Great show though.
*wanders off singing Send Me Your Money*
@asasassify .... yep pure music GRACE
@livio1396 i think you should start with Operation: MIndcrime or Empire, but The Warning and Promised Land are awesome albums as well!
@livio1396 Try to pick up "Hear in the Now Frontier" album as well. It's an underrated album but it is one of my personal favorites.
@livio1396 well depends, If u enjoy more straightforward Metal kind of stuff u might wna check out the first EP(wich to me is actually their best and thats where this song comes from) and the first album, I think those 2 r the best but many many ppl will disagree, but I only think that bcoz Im alot more of a metal fan than prog rock fan
@Flaggius DON'T FORGET "RAGE FOR ORDER" MY FRIEND!!!!!
PROBABLY THEIR BEST ALBUM..
1st 3 r there best but all r good but now he goes solo good luck friend tate is Queensryke
indeed
@livio1396 warring and self named these r their best. also the 3rd one made rage of order
@MrVANJR Dude Only Once Have I heard That Term and I reply Ryke it !!! Up !!! and it was a chant at a QR Concert
They were very good when they played metal.
thanks flaggins, what parts do ypu live in
@asasassify YOU GOT IT
@livio1396 Get the first EP (which has this song), Rage for Order, The Warning, Operation: Mindcrime, and Empire. Promised Land is pretty good too.
@livio1396 warring and self named these r their best. also the 3rd one made
pleaase someone tell me what cds i should get from these guys... i've just discovered they had such amazing songs watching this concert.. before i only knew silent lucidity and breaking the silence haha so please recommend me their best shit :D
Entire operation mindcrime album and rage for order. Brilliant. Saw them 3 times back in the day.
it would realy suck the metal bands you grew up listening to were dead.
@MrVANJR Dude Only Once Have I heard That Term and I reply Ryke it !!! Up !!!
@livio1396 definitely start with the songs eyes of a stranger and i don't believe in love from operation mindcrime then after that listen to the whole record start to finish and look up what the record is about since its a concept then listen to all of empire then all of their albums in order. then you will truly appreciate them!
@lexxx702 Well said man
U SHOULD START FROM THE 1ST ALBUM AFTER THE 1ST 4 GO BACK AND LISTEN AGAIN
@livio1396 All of them!
@Methrt3 dude u r on track
i read hes touring with the band again,why did he leave?
I disagree with you. I saw these guys in Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto back in the late 80's. They backed up Metallica . Queenryche were booed off the stage!!! This was their OPERATION MIND CRIME tour. They were a pretty good little band!!!!!Check the dates on some of the songs on your EMPIRE CD. A few of them were created prior to 1991. Besides, it is just a point of digression!!!They are a great band. I think that you and can agree on that point!!That is where I come out!!!! Cheers Byoof
yes mindcrime is what you want first then the warning yhis song came off there ep only 5 songs ,,self titled ,,but you cant go wrong with these guys
They lost everything when Tate left!
Puta que pariu! Muito foda!
@asasassify I saw the tour.. At the time both bands were at their peak.. Metallica's Justice tour was amazing.. Back then, Metallica was the bigger band.. But not by much.. Musically, I agree, Queensryche is a much more talented band in every way.. But back in 89' nobody was upstaging Metallica... It's a shame that neither of them are writing good tunes any more..
@asasassify yep
Thats my local boys
@asasassify I'm A Metallica (Head Banger) for life but Sadly I have to agree with you They KILL
I saw them long ago open for Metallica's 'And Justice For All' tour ,they were AWESOME!!!
it's sad how Geoff towards the end ruined the band ,both personally and professionally---lokking for great things with Todd La Torre fronting QR!!
operation mindcrime and empire...promise land too!
Operation LIVE CRIME bonus track
He got kicked out.
@livio1396 Rage for Order
@MrHexOmega I agree with you about Metallica they get way too much credit. It makes soo made that Metallica is in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and Iron Maiden is not!! Iron Maiden was playing that kind of Metal years before Metallica.
@livio1396 The Warning, Rage For Order, Operation Mindcrime, Empire
@orangeweed14 Q.R NOT D.T
livio1396
Metallica can and never will QR.
James Hetfield is nothing less than nothing compared ti Geoff Tate.
Queensrÿche's standards are way higher than Metallicas.
Once they backed up Bon Jovi.
Bon Jovi had no chance to continue the concert like QR began it
wtf queensryche kills metallica in comparison
@wallyworldfromcanada It is a cruel world... Ask Anvil... the awesome canadian thrash band that pretty much started the scene. They got screwed somehow and never made it. Queensryche was pretty popular though and still are... awesome voice.
@asasassify yep
