It because people are more interested in Olympics than Paralympics, very few broadcasters had bought the TV rights. So in almost every countries they will live on UA-cam to make more money and let people watch Para games more offen. Almost every single event which is organize by IPC was, is and will be live here

A job well done, Tokyo! The story of the one-wing plane really got me emotional. I joined in when everyone was clapping, encouraging her to spread her wings. If I dare say, better opening ceremony than the Olympics this year.
For some reason, the Paralympics Opening ceremony has managed to uplift the optimism and festive atmosphere that the Olympics Opening Ceremony had to forgo out of respect of the year’s events affecting the mood. The fact that the games have been a cathartic mood uplifter reflects in the Paralympics Opening Ceremony as the games season went on, in short. Lots of airport nostalgia in there too for those who remember travel before 2020 fell. Inspiring message and a cosy story indeed too, and for all the faith in the world, best wishes on the athletes competing and showing the world the best!
I wanna say that THIS IS 100x MORE BETTER THAN TOKYO 2020 OLYMPIC OPENING CEREMONY. They did it so well and prepared. So we now know that Tokyo 2020 Olympic OC has so many problmens and miss managment, bcs they must change 3x of the creative director. And if it not happened, i believe, Tokyo 2020 Olympic OC at least will lile in Paralympic. That's so amazing. We are proud 👍
They chose to tell us a story of relatable characters, a metaphor of the Paralympic movement, and they managed to make it emotional and connecting to everyone's hearts to animate the protagonist to move on and fly... The entire story made me cry from the beginning to the end: Seeing the girl wanting to fly like the other planes, still determined even with the struggles, and the moment she finally flies to the skies after everyone encourages her...That final key moment is the message of the Paralympic movement, and it was enough to make me feel emotional and enjoy the ceremony... I loved it!

We have 6 Filipino Paralympians from the Philippines and we are ready to face the Tokyo Paralympics event. Last Rio 2016, the Philippines received one medal and that is bronze. We hope that we will get more medals in Paralympics and the country would set a new record.

As a student volunteer, i had the honor to participate all the process of Beijing 2008 Olympic. I was there for the opening ceremony, and my classmates and I were so moved that we cried together. I was in charge of traffic control at the basketball arena throughout the basketball game and got to meet all the big international players in person. Looking back on it all now, I am so blessed.
I honestly like the opening of the Paralympic Games more than the Olympic opening ceremony. I like that they showed more of the Japanese car culture represented by what is meant to be a dekotora truck. That is portrayed as one of the supporters of the 1 wing plane. And it’s a cute little story that the people have performed. Like it is a cute metaphor of the message of we don’t have to let our disabilities limit us from what we dream of doing in our lives as we can do anything if we put our mind into it. Especially if we have supporters and peers encouraging us to do what we want to do as best as possible.

Very well done. I think it’s a million times better than the olympics opening ceremony which was held last month. All the performances are related from the beginning to the end. It’s really impressive and moving.
Whimsical, it’s like watching an anime. I wonder if the Paralympics ceremonies are the original plan unchanged by covid, they seem a lot more upbeat and optimistic.
The original theme for the ceremony Was "Positive Switch" and "ParaAirport" And yes,the ParaAirport did make it to the final ceremony, also Mikiko (the girl in the car with White hair) appear in both Río presentacion and Tokio 2020 :)

This was much better than the Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony. I love how there is a story in this ceremony which makes it even better. The cauldron lighting wasn't the best but I really loved this ceremony.
The cauldron is the same as in the Olympics. That was to resemble the moon/sun above Mount Fuji. The Paralympics version had to make it accessible for the 3 lighters in wheelchairs.

Cause this was the original concept of the Olympic opening ceremony back in feb 2020 before the original creative director was fired, glad they used some of that in this ceremony

Whimsical, it’s like watching an anime. I wonder if the Paralympics ceremonies are the original plan unchanged by covid, they seem a lot more upbeat and optimistic.
The original theme for the ceremony Was "Positive Switch" and "ParaAirport"
And yes,the ParaAirport did make it to the final ceremony, also Mikiko (the girl in the car with White hair) appear in both Río presentacion and Tokio 2020 :)

This was much better than the Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony. I love how there is a story in this ceremony which makes it even better. The cauldron lighting wasn't the best but I really loved this ceremony.
The cauldron is the same as in the Olympics. That was to resemble the moon/sun above Mount Fuji.
The Paralympics version had to make it accessible for the 3 lighters in wheelchairs.
The Paralympics cauldron sits atop what I think is supposed to represent a Japanese airport roof
God bless all disabled people that are fighting the battles that society creates, in a world that needs inclusion
