I just look at the pier pilings and behavior of the other boats for speed and direction of currents, and the trees and flags for wind speed and direction. All the information is in the video.
Why does everyone dock and then go get the trailer? We’ve always just dropped someone off to get it, they back it down while the boat waits, put it on the trailer and pull it. Less than 5 minutes and we don’t take up dock space. Just wondering why it is different here?
The Chevy pickup backing the trailer. It totally astounds me that a grown man can be so inept at backing a trailer and take up the whole two lane ramp too. Dude, go to a freaking parking lot and practice first, would ya?
Ok...FREE pilot lessons! Listen carefully people of Miami. It's not hard. Put the bow on the dock. Tie bow line to cleat. Turn helm away from dock. Put boat in forward. The stern will swing right alongside dock. Signed, certified captain.
This channel gives me such anxiety watching. I can't believe how unprepared these boats are when they approach the dock. Lines not even tied off to the boat? That's crazy. Then the backing ability with trailers is unbelievably bad.
Why are powerboater insisting on leeward approach? Just let the wind/current move you to the dock like the guy at 6:22. It really isn't a brain surgery...
Videos would be so much better if the commentary wasn't every single small detail spoken of instead of just letting the clip play with slight commentary.
Day after day after day you watch idiot boaters pull up to docks with lines either on the wrong side or not out at all. 1. Buy a set of lines for each side of the boat. 2. Come back sober. 3. Buy a damn boat hook pole. 4. Have your bumpers out if you use them. Maybe a set for both sides. 5. Have at least one person besides the captain alert and ready to dock. 6. Get your boat on the trailer and get out.
I find it's easer to launch and trailer a boat with everyone playing different music as loud as possible.
The music tells the whole story. God help America!
That helps prevent unnecessary communication like "we have a bilge fire" or "lefty is drifting into the prop again."
Yes, while on your iPhone talking to your wife.
What??
Thanks Bronco 🎶 Three Stooges 🎶 theme song stuck in my mind
It's ok she floats 😅😅 best life jackets a man can buy
Consider using a tall selfie stick to give us a better perspective and wind/current vectors for conditions effecting the boat handling.

Ah at least there's only frustrations at the ramp as a couple (especially married) ;)
0:40 If only there was some kind of device to move a boat with so you wouldn't have to work so much with your hands.
The overweight mom yelling at her kid because he cant kick the whole ass boat back around..while she sits there.. 🤣
The wives were not much to look at today, but damn they were sure helpful
Wifey's built like a linebacker.
I always like how people own boats but it my guess they don’t take a boating course
And where I'm from they are free
What's with the dude standing in front of the guy trying to pull out?

Well, we have totally changed the definition of what is a man now so...
When I was younger I was so good at pulling out I never had to use a rubber 😅😅
Pretty pointless using a rubber on your inflatable..
@@laurencevdvalk your mom said I was the pull out king but mostly she swallowed ! 😄
Why does everyone down there back their trailers so deep?
Must have all been returning from the Twinkie Festival on the sandbar!
How was it? Were you fulfilled?

Someone should teach the crewe of the first boat the concept of friction.
The first boat was in reverse, that's why they were struggling.

The blind leading the blind. Good Lord now they are going to go down the road.
It's funny that there's no face paint in sight.
That first boat looks way under powered. (2) 115hp ?

1st clip, too much boat, not enough experience. Chevy truck guy better go to a local parking lot and figure out backing up before trying it in public.
When people don’t understand how ropes work…
Once a rope comes aboard a vessel, it is referred to as a "line".
Or wind or tide or current or fenders or cleats or motors or backing trailers or planning or preparation….

Should have to take a skills test when purchasing a boat and trailer. Taking up to slots on both ramp and dock is ridiculous.

It's great the way it is.
@michaelfrankel8082 To me not so much, takes away from the clip. Not bashing just some constructive criticism
Common sense, 'n logic seem to be very rare commodities at the Miami launches,.....

Situational awareness is not a strong point in these videos.
And I counted 0 fenders.
I am sick of her overstatement about the Webb Telescope still again...
Oh to be on the back seat of the Chevrolet on the ay back home
why can these people not back a trailer, i would be going to an empty parking lot to practice before i embarress myself like that.
hahahahha 😁
Imagine being a creep and filming random people.
Just like Big Brother
