I always thought that the '50's era Diamond T's were the most handsome trucks ever made. Right around 1960 a beautiful maroon-colored 900-series, tandem-axle tractor, with horizontal chrome bars across the radiator and a sun visor used to park just up alley where I grew up. What a beauty.
I love the plaque picture at the end. That sums up what we are about. Preserving history through Ron. Dad was super excited to have talked to you. Thank you for all you do for trucking/historical trucks and the shows they are a part of.
I was glad to finally meet your dad! I’ve loved seeing this truck at the RC show the 4 times I’ve gone, so I really wanted to get a video on it this time for other folks to see, too. I’m glad it’s in such great hands with you and your dad :)
He picked a GREAT color.
My son said it so well in his post. It was awesome to meet you, and the impact you have had to document and share trucking and history is amazing. Keep up this important work!!!
Thank you so much, Doug! Glad to have finally met you. Thanks for agreeing to do this, and for the great interview :)
Nice classic👍
Love the edits in the beginning of the video!
Nice!
Love those old starshape rims...
Beautiful looking old diamond t truck cant wait to see her 👍👍
Awesome! Good to see an operating diamond T
I love this channel. I had a 77 352 Pete, a 77 White Western Star, and a 71 White Freightliner cabover. I miss them but had to sell the cabovers. Some clown torched the Western Star. Someday I would like to buy another old rig. Hopefully a 359 Peterbilt.
That is a beautiful thing.
Another lovely old survivor, you've got good taste miss Red, you should try to get behind the wheel of some these older trucks, it would make great footage.
There are quite a few short videos of me driving on my channel. Can’t really drive trucks around at a show.
@@MissFlatbedRed yep, I've seen a lot of them, but they're not generally the real old trucks, I can understand why it's harder to get behind the wheel at shows. I just love those real old pre 60s rigs, such survivors with so much character, if only they could talk 😊
Mint👌
Fabulous Diamond T but that rubber block suspension... oh my aching back!
Just looking at it, makes my back hurt
Nice Diamond T
