Good video Brian. It's a lot nicer early in the mornin. There are some incredible trucks at the show. The blue V-8 359 is an incredible truck. Blue is my favorite color, especially blues in that family, but I'm not a fan of the Tribal scheme. I'm fairly predictable and boring, I like the paint schemes that were popular in the 70's because that's when I started driving. The paint on the black W900 that you were showing is unreal. I've done a lot of painting over the years, and I've painted mulit-million dollar motor coaches too, so I can really appreciate the time and effort that went into that paint job. I can't even imagine having to spend the time to work around each huck so they have the same smoothness as the flat surfaces. Quite honestly I don't think I would have the patience to do that... I can appreciate the time and money that guys invest in building their trucks, but personally I like a really nice working truck better. I like to look into a sleeper and see a bed, not 100 giant speakers LOL.
Wow. I didn't know Duffield Hauling had a show truck! I'm from Washington D.C. and when I used to haul trash down to Virginia, I used to see their trucks all the time! They're from King George, VA, which is not too far south from D.C.! I'm referring to the white Pete with the stainless electric lines on the mirrors and pin stripe work that he showed us.
Out of all the people that walk around truck shows critiquing trucks you are probably the only person that I've ever heard say how hard it is to start off with an old antique truck and bring them to show quality man that makes me happy there's nothing more I love to see than a 1979 Peterbilt 359 looking better than a brand new 3809 that somebody just bought dropped 200 k at a chrome shop and goes in wins the truck show to me that's bullshit they should have separate classes wich I know would be a humongous pain in the ass but make a class for brand new trucks then one for 5 years or less 10 years or less and then 10 years and older but they must be trucks that do more than drive up on the low boy and then drive off the low boy into their truck show parking spot !!!!!!! I've spoken to who knows how many og real truck drivers that say that's bullshit they go out buy a new 200k truck send it to another custom shop drop another easy 200 ro 300k just in dressing and lighting a brand new truck with 10 miles on it if someone would put the effort into setting up a truck show that was first off fair no favoritism bs and then have real classes for every type of truck I garente that once it was talked about how honest and how fair that it was being ran and judged within 2 to 3 years tops it would be the United States biggest custom truck show
KT Cummins also had te duel thermostat housings.... V8 Detroits , 903 Cummins a few engines..... sorry not a tribal fan.... but blue is my favorite color, and anything with a V8 CAT is AWESOME .... 👌
Good luck finding parts a for a V-8 Cat these days . The 359 I got last engine came out of a D - 7 bulldozer that we found in the weeds at a grave pit 250 miles away . Had to buy hole tractor just to get motor . O and another thing they will NOT go past a fuel pump WITHOUT STOPPING
I guess he doesn't work that blue 359. His sleeper is speakers, lol! I want to learn how to drive a 6 and a 4 Aux trans so bad. I also want to experience a 3408 CAT, too! I've only driven up to 18 speeds and Inline 6 motors! I'd say the weirdest of all motors for me was the 3406B CAT. That thing taught me how to shift with the jake on, lest you stalled the truck, looking like a straight-up rookie, lls! Now, I have to upgrade to a 3408!
Bryan, I really like your content but I’m old school. Is there anyway to get some old cab over content? That’s what some of us old guy weened our teeth on before graduating up to a hood.
I drive a rig, and honestly I can't think of many things more counterintuitive than turning a working truck into a "show truck". You just took a purpose-built machine, and turned it into a ghetto lowrider with no real function left.
Great job Brian with the interview on the tribal blue 359 owner!
I could hang with him for sure, such an honest man with conviction...🏁💪🙏
The blue 359 from 1986 kicks ass bad ass ride!!!
Davis Brothers stuff is always over the top Best builders IMO
Beautiful blue truck! Job well done to everyone that worked on it!

I stay in Upstate NY and there is a guy running a chopped top Pete. Looks really cool. The black square body was super nice.
Cool, beautiful ❤❤ nice iron
I like it when you and Tommy makes videos

That flattop Pete with the V8 Cat💥💥💥💥💥
A lot of work went in to the Pete, but I don’t think I saw a CAT Brakesaver on it? Unusual for a highway spec 3408 🤷♂️
Lots Of Nice Trucks
Great videos!
Crazy that cab over didn’t win nothing at mats, I seen it in Kodak and it is just something else!!
BIG MONEY FOR sure 👍

Did they swap for an older sleeper? Seem to remember seeing doors on some 379’s in the mid 00’s?
Hey what’s up bros how y’all doing much love

Hi Semi Causal
My dad's frameless n truck had like over 320 Ole swift drivers said it looked like a Christmas tree blowing by em over 100 mph
How hard would it be to put that V8 Cat into a 589 Pete??
❤
That wasn't a Western Star..... it's a 589 pete.... 😅
The amount of chrome would take two weeks to polish....
My GF made the wheels for Truck Show Joes truck
That classic excel decal must have come off of a Freightliner cause ford never made a classic excel.
