Awesome haul dude! I regret not picking up The Devonsville Terror. Gonna have to get that next time. I’ve also been pretty interested in Paul Naschy. Your showcase of that film is making me wanna pull the trigger on that one. Great video bro! That intro was so awesome!! Lol! LOVE IT!! 🤘🏻💯🔥
I’m really glad I could help recommend some titles! These are all great picks!! I’m especially stoked you grabbed the Taboada set, I will go to bat for that one hard. Also I wish my videos were as well edited and looked as good as yours!!
Thanks! That sounds like an awesome haul as well. I really want Cemetery Man, but haven’t been able to justify that $55 price tag yet. Spider Labyrinth too!
Great haul! Definitely need to look more into those Mexican horror titles. I love Mexican cinema in general. I recently got Burning Paradise. Need to give it a watch though, but I've heard fantastic things on it. Blind buying is always fun. You never know what hidden gems you'll find. 😀
x I am a big fan of witchcraft films too, especially those that use the history and folklore of Salem (like The Witch). x I added Blood Delirium (1988) to my January Watch List. x Watched 8-Bit Christmas, excellent film! o Very funny, and they did such a great job of expressing some of the 80s cultural elements (like Cabbage Patch Dolls, collecting baseball cards - I remember Billy Ripken Jr.'s card being worth the most when I collected baseball cards, the anarchy of the 80s school system, etc.) o One of my nicknames in high school was Raw Spaghetti-Os Kid, so I found it interesting that part of the film was about a kid that always threw up when he ate them (I still eat them all the time, they are the best!).
I apologize if someone already explained this… so the Cat Creeps is a remake of the 1930 The Cat Creeps, which itself is a remake, the first sound remake of the silent original mystery old dark house horror classic, The Cat and the Canary. The 1930 The Cat Creeps is currently a lost film with only a few minutes of footage having been known to survive. So I also bought the VS release to see what any version of The Cat Creeps might be like… even if this is not that 1930 version.
If you are looking for more Hong Kong cinema, there is an 80's movie called Mr Vampire. If you haven't seen it before, its a horror comedy with a martial arts. Its great fun and pretty timeless. One of my favourites 👍🏼
They are my fav boutique company. Even when I blind buy an old trash film from them, and it turns out to be a bit “meh.” I Don’t feel bad, because I know my dollars are going to help preserve strange cinema.❤
These editions are super nice. I remember seeing "Burning Paradise" years ago and visually it was very well done, but I got exhausted by the finicky HK style wire work. Something like "Iron Monkey" raised to the highest power.
oh snap I wanna see that documentary too! Naschy rules.
Always love the content dude 10/10 fricheks
Always love your comments, my man!
Enjoy the content bro. Your videos are always phenomenal and 10/10 dude. Haha love the intro man.
Excellent haul my friend. Burning Paradise is really interesting and crazy!!
Thanks dude!! I’m looking forward to watching it!

Thank you so much for the shoutout btw!!
Oh my gosh, thank you so much for watching and for the kind words! Yeah I’m SUPER excited to check out these movies.
@@cobwebschannel let me know what you think when you end up watching them!
@@celestedelacabra Will do! 😁
I've never heard of any of these. Very nice haul mate. Cat Creeps looks interesting. Thanks very much
Thanks for watching!
Very entertaining. I wouldn’t mind watching any of those. My Vin Syn Black Friday package is arriving today… Cemetery Man, The Church, and Viy.

Hey, thank you!!
A+ video!

@@cobwebschannel Forget to mention, fantastic intro!
haha Thanks, it was a blast.

hahaha That nickname is hilarious. So glad you enjoyed the movie! It’s got a good vibe for this time of year.
Cat Creeps is really fun. Fast, simple and looks great. I loved it! I couldn't get into Devonsville Terror unfortunately. It dragged a bit for me
Great to hear about Cat Creeps!
Thanks for the vid! I'm not really a fan of HK cinema, but Burning Paradise is amazing, one of the best films in the whole VS library.
That’s high praise, then!

Oh cool! I’m a big fan of the 1939 Cat & the Canary, so it’s nice to know Cat Creeps is related to that.

I do love Iron Monkey, but wirework even more intense than that does give me pause. I’m curious to see what I think.
