Great choices. I love Vinegar Syndrome. I'm lucky enough to have Existenz. None of the other ones are yet in my collection, but maybe they eventually will be. Love Showgirls! I have their releases of Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Flesh for Frankenstein and a few others. I just got back onto UA-cam after a pretty long hiatus, so maybe I'll do a VS collection video. Subbed, enjoyed the video!
Thanks for the sub. Let me know if you do a VS collection video. I would check it out. VS has really got me going hard at collecting after I stopped for quite some time.
Just stopping by to let you know that you really, really need to give the VS release Devil Story a watch. Can't say for sure you'll love it as much as I did, but as you are a fellow connoisseur of So Bad It's Good and WTF-ery, it's a fair bet you'll enjoy it. I can't even describe it, but it's best to go in blind anyway. Amazing. Definitely one I'll be sharing with like minded folks....
@@CarlinCook hahaha I don't think I've ever seen a movie quite like it before. It's amazingly odd. Can't imagine the crew wasn't on something when they made it.
i about to purchase Apocolypse though no slipcovers 😢. i got Show Girls box set Amazing must have release ....haters now will trash it because it had beautiful women. It not crime this film was huge and so mainstream in cinema's, Entertainment Tonight raved about it nonstop. I was bit young to se it back in mid nawty 90s though even my old folks 😅 saw it at cinemas. Times have changed we kinda gone backwards and more Conservative in a weird way.
When it comes to sexual content in films, society has tended to be very shy about it. I don’t really get it. It’s natural. Sorry about the slipcover version of the Apocalypse Tetralogy being out. Hope you enjoy the films.
A Blade In The Dark is not problematic because real life murderers such as Gacey dealt with a psycho- sexual personality disorder which fueled their killing patterns. Things like this can and does occur, especially when childhood trauma occurs.
I get what you're saying here. I'm just referring to the fact that it can be viewed as representing people who are trans in a negative light. There have been a good amount of films over the decades that have had killers who dress as the opposite gender, so when it hits a certain amount it can make some people feel like its a condemnation of people who are trans. That said, when these films were made, it was a different time and there was very little awareness of trans individuals. Thankfully society has progressed some in that respect.

Why are you doing this to me?!?! Now I feel like it has to be added to my list to buy. I almost bought it during the Subscriber Week sale. Dammit!
