    You missed changing the XML sourcepath location to a shared drive or another location that will be available during deployment. The xml (if you follow the two videos) still has the sourcepath as the location in c:\

    I'm trying to deploy Office 365 via MDT/ODT. It deploys just fine, but if I launch an Office app it asks me for a product key. If I click "back" on the product key screen, it takes me to the normal O365 sign in.
    I want users to sign in and activate O365 via their email address, like normal. How do I skip this product key screen and go directly to the email sign in screen?

      You need to look into your configuration xml file that controls how your installation is done. Their is a product key section that will allow you to set it up.

      @@bjtechnewshd what should I insert in order to make it activate without user interaction?? Single Sign-on is already working. It was working perfectly until this issue start happeing out of the blue

    For some reason the install.bat file installs office just fine but MDT wont install office using the setup.exe /configure configfile.xml I have setup. When I double click setup.exe from the deployment share manually it also says "configuration file wasn't specified" when it attempst to install but as mentioned the install.bat file installs office just fine calling the same config file. I dont get what im missing or doing wrong when trying to get the workbench to deploy office as part of our imaging process

    For some reason the MDT client has not internet access until all applications are deployed via MDT. Hence the Office installer fails due to no internet access. (Why does it need internet access while all Office installer files are present in MDT?) Isn't it possible to get this to work totally offline..? Thanks a lot for for comments on this :-)

    How do you download and setup Office 2019 Prp Plus into MDT?

    Another issue. i am looking also for an option for network-location instead of downloading (including product activation). What will be the .xml for this?

    Hello, Bernardo. How can I deploy Office 365 from offline media created in Microsoft Deployment Toolkit version 8456?

    • @bjtechnewshd
      @bjtechnewshd  5 років тому

      It's the same process as in the video. When you create your offline media within MDT make sure to pick your Office 365 package to be included.

    Do you have to change the sourcepath in the xml file?

    • @bjtechnewshd
      @bjtechnewshd  5 років тому +1

      Yes, source path should be pointing to the MDT path

      @@bjtechnewshd you should of just used "Application without source files or elsewhere on the network" and then pointed it to your O365 folder, so you do not need to change anything. and you can update the source files by just downloading it again.
