Love it, a new MDT video from BTNHD :) ... Shh don't tell Microsoft but I've been deploying Windows 10/2019 1809 with the "older" mdt / wpe ... Haven't tried it with the 190x version of Windows 10 however.
Thanks for the support. For TSR, yes and no. I’ve looked at the statistics (views/subs/comment/view time) and it wasn’t great. Some videos were amazing, but it seems like many people viewed it after the stream not during. Still looking for the right day & time to produce more video. Occasionally I will do a TSR when I get a new server in the lab. I do have two new servers and those live-streams will come out soon.
@@bjtechnewshd ok great, I miss watching the videos, I enjoyed them and helped me alot with a bunch of different things I did. Also, loved learning new things I never worked with before such as sccm and that now I use it all the time. I work right in Harlem and live up in orange county, would love to know if you'd ever like to meet up and do some work together there been a bunch of things I have learned to do that you dont have videos for and I could help you do and what not.
Great video. Really appreciate all your efforts. So the MDT Toolkit just creates the .wim image. the main hero is the server with WDT role running on it. Right? Please correct me if I´m wrong.
When I do a deployment using only WDS the computer is able to use the previous name. How can I do the same using MDT deployment? My "Client Naming Policy" BRRJ2-NBK%0004# Using this parameter in WDS, I can repeat names for known computers, and unknown computers enter with sequential numbering. These parameters are fundamental to me. any tips?
I'm a little curious, why do you refer to X86 as "86 bit". That is not what x86 refers to. X86 is the designation for the old 8086 platform, not to the bit size. (There is no such thing as an 86 bit operating system.) Other than that error, nice video.
IF you get the error "a required device isn't connected" on WDS right click on the server name > Properties > TFTP > Change Max block to 1024 > Untick "Enable Variable Window Extension"
THANK YOU!! I have been wracking my brain the past 3 days trying to figure this out! I just happened to look at the comments the 2nd time through watching this video when I decided to redo the setup.
Great video... thank you... I am new in the IT world. Can I add or inject drivers and software's and make a copy of iso or wim file to a bootable usb and install it locally on other computers... If you already have those videos... please share the link... Thank you in advance bro... God bless you..
Hi buddy, great video. Like your organisation using folders. Just wanted to pick your brains a bit. I am trying to PXE boot but unable to do so even though I have DHCP enabled. Any clues why it's failing?
After doing a clean setup and install on server 2019 wds keeps crashing and MDT keeps forcing me to using “\\servername\deploymentshare$ I don’t want to use deploymentshare$
Thanks a lot for great videos! do not want be smart *ss, or something, but x86 is for 32bit OS:es. Name originates back to days Intel processors was 80x86, like 286, 386, 486...

@@tesso4238 i need to create custom partition in some computers. Isn't there a way to add that image to WDS, so that i can have some flexibility in my lab environment.
If the image you have captured is a WIM file yes. You can just place it in the captures folder of your deployment share. Then import it within MDT for use.
Just wanna say you helped me a great deal with setting this up at work. To the point and very easy to follow!
Same, and I love the New York voice.

SCCM has the capability to make a bootable USB of any captured image you want. I have done it myself.
@@saudahmad7862noted, would you share then how?
@@AS-hl3uf Bro, u can search for tutorials in youtube. I dont have my own videos to share for now.

How to create wim from existing installed Win10 laptop?
did micrsoft fix the login of this version the last version was broken. I quit using te last version as I have zero time to mess with anything.
Hi, I can't import the os and the error is wim file
Does it support language pack with appx version in 1809 earlier it was .cab
Bro, can i use the image i have captured through MDT in WDS.
Basically i need WDS because it provides partition settings.
Why? You can create partions also in a tasksequence.

Anyone else getting a 404 on the 8456 download? I'm getting 404'd from Google as well, not just the direct link posted by BTNHD.
same here
Sir pls tell me how to create partition in MDT.... ????
Did anyone else have a powershell issue?

What's new in this from previous versions
Does it support .ESD images now??
I need a install.wim file
You will need to covert your ESD file into a WIM file or get another ISO that has the install.wim file. 🤓
"86 bit" lmao
you should be old enough to know what the xx86 CPUs were (32 bit)
Great video, thanks!
Glad you liked it!
