It’s a little bit of an extra cost, but you can get a very small modular rack to house just a module or two, essentially turning it into a pedal(without stomp switches of course). Check out the powered 4MS Pod cases.
Looks like it might be out sooner than that, just found it Thomann with a delivery date of 9-12 weeks. Price is good too, £96 or 111 Euros. Gotta admit, it looks pretty tempting.
The problem regarding numerous product announcements from Behringer, is that sometimes the announced products are not released in some cases for a year or two, or perhaps at all. It seems almost as if Behringer may be deliberately causing people to delay buying competitor devices, by giving in some cases false expectation that the unicorn Behringer device will arrive in the foreseeable future. Even if that is not Behringer’s intention, it seems to be the effect, and could arguably be commercially assisting Behringer during a period when they seem unable to bring a number of new products to market in a timely fashion.
@@unclemick-synths that’s what confuses me because if you need midi/pitch to cv then why wouldn’t you already have a eurorack system ? Who would need this standalone if they don’t have eurorack? I guess if you had another Behringer semi modular ?

@@jensmandreasen2230 yep, I have a Boss guitar synth pedal which tracks fairly well so it's possible with current technology. However, that was twice the price. I'd be surprised if this is any good for the money. Maybe it is, we'll never know from the examples on this!

I would love it if you made the Neutron's MIDI to CV converter into a module (complete with the Assign output). The Neutron's converter is perfect for wind synths for three reasons. 1: I can send breath as aftertouch to go to the Assign. 2: The converter handles legato perfectly (unlike my other converters). 3: There is no dead spot in the middle of the pitch bend which means bite vibrato is also handled perfectly.
There is no MIDI signal coming from MIDI 5-pin or USB. However all audio out working fine. Is ther something I need to activate? Is there a support line? Thx
I have been looking for a module to accept my Taisho-goto Electric Harp.. I think I have found it.. With a suggested price of $100 USD, its a definite buy for me.
This could be the basis of several super useful products. I would love a version built into a guitar pedal format -and especially, a glissando feature that steps the intervals as you slide notes. I assume this is v/Oct CV. For it to be most useful with my synth collection, I’d want a Hz/v version so I can interface with Yamaha CS synths. That’s my wishlist.
I've Literally, just been Recently Searching for this Very Thing. The good thing about these announcements of things the never seem to become available is, in the end it turns out you didn’t need them anyway. It’s free GAS therapy. I thought I couldn’t live without a Solina. 3 years on and I’m alive and kicking.
If you make such great gear and preset it to the up coming customers, you should really try to hide wobbling Knobs. So I hope this will be fixed in the final Version of this product. But btw if I have an Behringer Arp 2500, I could do the same!? Ok nö midi out but cv.....
Oh wait, do you mean like playing a chord on guitar? I guess that would be a problem to try to pitch correct a complicated waveform. Probably won't work with any distortion pedals or high gain amp either.
There’s an iPad app that does polyphonic pitch-to-MIDI. Which has left me scratching my head as to why none of the hardware pitch-to-MIDI products are polyphonic. Although the designer of one did tell me that he wasn’t happy with the tracking of the iPad app and hadn’t been able to do better. But tracking has always been something you have to learn how to work with with these kinds of products.
THANKS Behringer for all of your great products. Now Behringer needs to start Creating Rackmount Units, like reverb, delay, equalizers, compressors, gates, digital and analog synthetic with all instrument sounds including drums etc... We need all of that to be created asap because people are starting to go back to an All Analog Studio Setup.. Peace Fam.. K.N. 2023
That's great but learn to play guitar to play bad electro ...is dumb. That said, a beautiful Fender Rhodes solo on my track would be nice, so i would buy it. :)
As others have said, this would be great as a standalone pedal for those of us who dont have eurorack power setups.
But you can use it as a single unit

Pitch to MIDI has existed since the 80's

Wow this seems really good.
I think at the end I was only realising this converts notes to midi from any line source?
