Visited Miami for the first time back in April of '16. Drove all the way from Naples where I was visiting my cousin. I get on Ocean Drive and I immediately thought, "we're screwed". No parking anywhere in sight. I wanted so badly to get a taste of that beach, but it seemed impossible. Then lo and behold, a spot opened up right across from the Clevelander Hotel. Felt like I won the lottery. In my eyes it was glowing like the gates of heaven.😂 Had a great time!
There’s a bunch of parking garages in between Collins & Washington Ave. You can park and walk over to Ocean drive. There’s plenty of parking in the daytime, but they get full at night.
I've always been in love with tropical weather. I've been to Florida for vacation more than once but not any further down than Orlando. But now let me tell you a story. The other week I got out to my car to head off for work, and behold, a thick layer of ice encasing my car, as a result of the "freezing rain" we got overnight. So thick in fact that I took my snow scraper and took my first scrape at the ice and the blade just slipped across it barely making a mark. Quickly following is a phone call to work to let them know I'll be late. So around here, you're not late to work because of the traffic, but you're late because you have to dig your car out of an icy burial. It's days like those I dream to live in a place like Miami 😂😂
Having moved to Europe , I miss Miami so much! I agree with all your cons ,100% accurate, but the Pros outweigh that anytime! I miss those sunsets and amazing views! Thank you for the video, Miami will always be my home :)
South Beach parking tip: If you're staying for the day, just pay for like an hour and eat the parking ticket. It'll be cheaper than paying for a garage or plugging the meter, and you can pay easily online.
hey Brian! haha to be honest I usually don't pay and risk the ticket or if it is during the week before 6pm you can park in the residential area and it is free till 6pm

Hey Taner! thanks for the love. Hmm... depends if you want a home or condo and your lifestyle you know. But I would say Brickell, Miami Beach, Midtown/Edgewater are awesome areas.
Midtown/Edgewater is the best area. I moved here in July 2020 from Tampa, FL and I love it! You have everything nearby, you have Miami Beach 10 minutes away, Brickell/Downtown 5 minutes away, the entertainment, music, art and shopping districts 5 minutes away. You have the Miami Design District, Brickell City Center, and Wynwood (where all the cool restaurants and painted walls are) just a few blocks from home. You can walk and visit green areas to exercise and on top of that you have ocean views while doing so. I recommend this area a lot and the best part is you have Brickell close by but you won’t have to deal with the daily traffic and bridges going up and down every time over there.
Is it better to buy property and Airbnb it or rent it to people?whichever is better what is a good area to purchase property for that type of business like Miami Beach,Hollywood, coral gables, brick elk?

How is south beach/miami beach like? I'm supposed to move their next month and wanting to buy my first property there. I work in accounting and hoping that i will love it. Is that area 'ghetto' or no?
Miami Beach is amazing! it's my fav neighborhood in all of Miami. I actually made a video about it, look it up on my channel. And i will be glad to help you find a place and get you settled down here in Miami. send me a whatsapp, DM, email. Thanks -Hans

Seattle
great video. like it
Hey Guido! thanks so much i appreciate it!
Timestamps would be cool. Also, how's public transport? If you worked and lived close in the city it'd get rid a lot of the cons!
Hey Levity, yeah true, I live in Miami Beach and def i don't worry too much about traffic, bad driving, nor bad transportation. So that means that most of those CONS are gone and I'm all about the PROS :)
Lol... I shifted from Miami with my family when I was just 2 years old and I'm now living in Southern Massachusetts....but finally I came to know about my birthplace from you that I never knew from my sister, mommy and daddy!!!!...
.thanks uncle....
haha thats awesome to hear! I will be showing you more about Miami in the next videos to come! enjoy :)
You had me as soon as you said traffic because before you said it I said it. I been living here for 20 years also. And I love Miami but it’s gotten nuts. I’m just about ready to go.
lol you are right Rita! Traffic drives me nuts! but Miami is my place! Hope you reconsider and don't leave us! hahaha
You forgot the cost of living here. Check the cost of a house or the rent. In addition there is the cost of insurance.
Hey Charles! you are right! I talked about that in other videos go and check them out
felicitaciones por su atencion
Whats yours business link? I want to move out there from bronx,nyc..
Hey Garner, you can find me on facebook, or instagram or Hans Waisfeld
Hi. I'm moving to Miami Beach? I wanna live 65th st and up towards Hollywood Beach? 2,500$ a month for rent is the most I wanna spend? It seem like 65th st Collins and up towards Hollywood Beach is 99% homes and condos. So thats a more safe area.?
North Miami beach and up is a more residential area with less young people like South Beach , I would say it is safer!
@@LivingInMiami thanks
Traffic is mainly the reason why I left Miami.
hahaha I hate traffic too!!!
I am in native of and born and raise but now I live up north in Maryland go back home at least 4 to 5 times a year short trips 3 4 day short trip. love it but other than that I will never want to make it my primary residence again, great place to visit but having to deal with those people on a year-round basis would be freaking torture twothumbs up for visiting though especially in the winter!
lol i understand Miami is definitely not for everyone
Can anyone from Miami please answer me! Hey, i've always been curious about shark life in the beaches! Is it too crowded with sharks? Is there any shark attacks?

I'm a Canadian considering visiting and maybe living in Miami. I'm wondering if there's a Canadian population living there?
Hello Jon, yes tons and tons. Mostly by Hallandale and some areas of Broward county, we call them snow-birds they come 5-6 months out of the year.
Thinking of moving from Seattle. What about the crocodiles though
There's nothing to be worry about crocodiles my friend
Great sport teams
I used to love the men’s bathroom especially on south beach lots of action now stainless steal sucks
lol now they are too modern?
@@LivingInMiami lol too funny thanks excellent video thank you
I have been back and forth to Miami since 97 . The last time I lived in Miami was 2015 . I have plans to move from Seattle to Miami . I have a Financial Trading and Consultation business called Pirate Global Options . I use to work at the Mansion in South Beach . My concern is the mayor wants Fortune 500 and Tech companies to move to Miami . I have witnessed the devastation these companies can leave with a city in Seattle .
Whats the good areas to live? By good areas i mean not the hood nor very close to the hood.
What’s some good neighborhoods for young families? In Miami?
