SSR didn't make any controversial statements, he just clarified that this indian film RRR is not a bollywood film it's a Telugu film to the jury ,audience. Movie is not made in hindi it's just dubbed in hindi so it cannot be a bollywood film. I don't understand y people r expecting him to say yes it's a bollywood film when it's not

This is not an intellectual video. Kuch bhi banadiya. I am a South Indian and I totally agree with what Salman Khan said. Oscars is and always will be an American awards show. It mainly includes the movies from their industry and for other nations movies are categorised as foreign films. That means the rest of the other countries official entry movies have to be pitted against each other then whichever top 5 wins get added to the nominations. And what Rajamouli said is true too, coz for some reason, all the other film industries have made the Oscars as the ultimate award and aiming for it definitely is a goal. You can see the craze the foreign people get Oscars their value becomes immense and they are placed at the pedestal. If Rajamouli's movie is not considered for Oscar even he would say he is not that keen on that award and if Salman movie gets nominated then his words would be similar to what Rajamouli said. It's just whatever they say depends on the situation.

South Indian actors are Genuine, Polite, and Honest they respect their fans - A major reason to love South Indian stars Ex: Mahesh Babu has done many heart operations to child poor parents who could not afford the medical expenses. That's why people have great respect for Mahesh Babu. Prabhas has an organization that takes care of cancer patients in India - A major reason why people call him darling. Bala Krishana has a cancer hospital in Hyderabad Actor Surya provides education and equal opportunity to unprivileged children. He has an organization named Agaram. Raghava Lawrence had been educating, feeding and serving a lot of children. Many heart surgeries were successfully carried out to the needy with the help of Raghava Lawrence's charitable trust. Vijay Thalapathy provides education to poor children. Vijay Anthony donates food to beggars. He acted as Beggar in his movie. That's why these people have so many fans to these actors.
7. Coming to South Indian movies they are content king !! They have the best stories.
8. South Indian movies are crafted well better than Bollywood shitty movies.
9. South Indian dubbing artists are experts in Language there would be no language barriers
10. South India has the best production values if you observe Robo, Bahubali, Love Today, Shankar's I, Vikram and many more they are Amazing and Excellent than Bollywood movies
11. I think I have never seen South Indian movies insulting Hinduism but Bollywood did !! In an Interview, Saif Ali Khan told there was no India before Mugal Dynasty. He is a Muslim he doesn't even know about Indian history. These Bollywood actors are illiterate & just for Showoff.
12. South Indian actor's acting skills are natural not showoff acting like Khan's and Kapoor's.

13. Bollywood cannot beat South Indian VFX and CGI and production values. They have more amazing technicians than Bollywood.

Let us not call it Tollywood. It is Telugu Film Industry or Kannada Film Industry for Kannadigas and similar for the rest of the country. The terms Bollywood, Tollywood are taken from Hollywood. In fact Hollywood is not even the film industry in USA, Hollywood is place in California where rich and Elite live there and mostly actors and actresses. We should respect the Hollywood movies as they are far ahead in terms of quality, production and other stuff but that doesn't mean we start to imitate everything. We should start living in our own terms and contribute to the nation in every field and not just movies.

This was a super box offfice hit and it was also banned for a short time, they went to courts. There are so many movies they mock religion and stupid social practices. Most South Indians are native to the land they are not Sanatanis by the way.

He bought into the limelight that Bollywood is not the sole representative of Indian films...but there exist multiple industries and talents other than bollywood that has real content and acting personalities. Hence, SSR cameback as SSR with a brut force to make his presence felt. :)

Bhai, having more film industries will only help to encourage more talent. Problem with Bollywood is it is one industry keeping all the control. Think of having one industry in each and every state. In north also Hindi is not the native language in all the states.

Director manirathnam in tamil in 1991 he gave 1st pan india movie Roja, then Delse, Bombay, ect &malayalam industry is simply quality with very low Budget, and telugu was always huge budget too much mass And heavy products.
