Glad you decided to finish this piece: it’s worth it! I love how you did the background, it’s something I should try. And yeah, I feel your pain acryla gouache is so expensive! I also love Benjamin Lacombe’s art… I have so many of his books. Subscribed!
@@rampant.hare.illustrations yes I have an upcoming painting I am drawing right now which I think would benefit from your creative way of painting the background 👍🏻 I am still thinking of the medium/mediums I’m going to use and the way you painted just sparkled my imagination! I hope it will come out as nice as yours. Thank you for your reply, so nice!
It was worth the waiting! It is very beautiful art piece ^__^ Can u write the name of artist pleaseee. But I wonder how will time influence gouache and oil in one work
Thank you Elena! The name of the artist is Benjamin Lacombe. I'm not sure how oil will react after some time (so far so good). One thing I know for sure is that the varnish created a barrier between gouache and oils. So there is no direct contact. I will continue experimenting 😄...
So beautiful! Can't wait to see what you paint next
Fantastic work!!! I wish more people saw your videos! Your artwork is so wonderful!
Thank you so much! It means a lot... 💜
